Apparently he had a long relationship with Sacha Abercorn, but there have been other names linked to the man as well. I didn't use to believe it, but a journalist I was once friends with (and trusted, unlike most other journalists I've met!) confirmed that his paper had a lot of stories they could publish, but chose

AVC: What about Philip? Watching it, I thought, “Wow, maybe this guy isn’t the nicest guy.”

Sadly not, but it does still seem pretty fascinating - From Wikipedia: "In 2015, Jodorowsky began a new film entitled Poesía Sin Fin, the sequel to his last "auto-biopic", The Dance of Reality. His Paris-based production company, Satori Films, launched two successful crowdfunding campaigns to finance the film. The

I love Lambchop and can't wait to hear this, the review makes it sound pretty damn fantastic.

I agree with you, and have good news - he's still alive so could do it! Especially as at 89 he's just made a new film which premiered at Cannes this year.

But it's who that old dude is and what he represents that is terrifying. Along with Brexit it shows the enormous problem we have with racism, and given that the world is likely to get pretty shitty in the next couple of decades due to climate change, water shortages, and overpopulation, along with other issues we have

Yeah, the more I read the more it appears that this will only delay Brexit, and perhaps make certain deals slightly less shitty, but won't ultimately change much.

These truly are the bleakest of times aren't they. I feel so stupid as well as I once had hope for humanity. Thought that despite so many complicated issues that we'd slowly become more considerate and caring for others. But christ, this year has been a horrendous wake up call.

I'm from the UK and should be overjoyed, but I just don't trust the MPs to make the right decision. Christ I hope I'm wrong, but even if we end up staying it doesn't help change the fact that Brexit has proven over the last several months that we have an enormous problem with racism, and that people are way too easily

I know this is a predictable thing to say in these Luke Cage reviews but this truly felt like a D+ at best, and not a B-, I can't understand why the grading for the whole series hasn't reflected the content of the reviews.

I felt exactly the same with "It Follows", I too saw it in fairly ideal circumstances (for free as I won tickets to a preview, and at one of my favourite cinemas in London) but it was so ridiculously hyped up that I ended up feeling disappointed by it. I remember the phrase "Game changer" was being used to describe it

I watched it again recently and it's definitely comedy horror for me, though there are the odd occasions where it's quite grotesque. I never found it scary, but it is a classic and one I recommend everyone watch.

It's not just one event though, is it? As the article above shows he's had a long history of being a deeply repugnant human being, and he's trying to claim that this isn't the case. Which is what makes me really angry about all of this. I'm not a fan but I thought after all this time he could perhaps be given a shot

I get compared to Robbie Coltrane, and I'm only 42. This guy can go fuck himself, quite frankly.

Nolte's one of those people who I'd love to see produce a book length interview, akin to Lynch On Lynch and a few others which were published ages ago.

Indeed! I like Marah's Random Roles too, but they should be the only ones allowed to do them! :)

This really is a superb interview, I love it when it's not all "I had a tremendous time, everyone was lovely" responses to the various roles.

Maybe not, but with Nolte and Richard Kind in the leads it could have been even better!

I watched this a couple of weeks back but the bit which annoyed me the most was just before the ending when either Misty or Claire said "You know it's a trap", and Luke replied "I'm counting on it", suggesting he had some sort of plan. Before wandering out to meet Diamondback somewhat aimlessly, and not getting shot

I actually do open mic stand up, but sir, I shall not be using any of your punchlines. Apart from maybe the second one.
