It is an extremely harsh review, and I feel it's a little unfair as we're still only two episodes in and there's plenty of time to explore the show's backstory, plus I feel Hines occasionally shows hints that she slightly misses the days of her youth, even if she doesn't want to return to them.

I've no children but my longterm partner was away for a couple of days recently and I had a great time. Don't get me wrong, I adore her and am so lucky to have her, but it was nice to have a couple of days to myself where I could smoke a bit of weed, watch some films, read comics, and well, be my seventeen year old

Ah man, that's all kinds of frustrating to hear. But thank you for the info.

Has Sunnyside been cancelled? If so that sucks a ridiculously huge amount, it was sometimes a little hit and miss but I enjoyed it a great deal most of the time.

I love Toby Jones a huge amount as well, and for a long time hoped a suitable vehicle would come along that'd bring him success (at least in the UK). And then we got it with Detectorists, which is a thing of beauty and my favourite british sitcom of the last twenty years.

And now with the discovery that Gloria's dad looks like Jay we have an all new kind of incest joke. Christ, this show really has gone downhill of late.

I think the usage of the word "reductive" was incredibly kind, I'd have gone with "outright racist and offensive."

I wouldn't say it felt like an F, they're normally reserved for truly despicable pieces of culture, but it did feel like a C- or C at the very most.

It's strange, I had no problem with Holbrook in the first season, but this year it felt like he was oddly flat and emotionless throughout. And I agree with you about the narration as well, though that's obviously the writers fault rather than his.

The Divorce Gun was the episode that sprang to mind as soon as I saw the article, I think the final moments of the episode are a thing of beauty.

It look's like Bruce is suffering from some horrendous chest tumors to me, if my body looked like that I'd go straight to A&E. And expect to be pronounced dead before morning, too.

I couldn't agree more, and it's depressing to see another strong female character put through such trauma. Marvel really aren't doing much to make me like them right now.

I presumed that would mean he was infected and thought it'd play in to the ending, but apparently not. Still, I guess there's still time for it to have an effect.

What I didn't understand is why The Man didn't just tell Doctor Teller the truth. Instead of ordering him to go with them without giving any reason at all, he could have just said "Hey, Teller, do you fancy coming with us to this beautiful island which is completely zombie free, and there's loads of hot women walking

It turned up on some obscure channel in the UK at about 2.30am in the morning, so I only caught it by chance, but did end up loving it and wishing that one of the main networks over here had given it a shot too.

Wow, well that's Fallon on my c*** list for ever more.

Twin Peaks' Bob is back with this autumn's sartorial choices.

Yeah, I've read that, and I'm pretty sure I once read an interview with MacFarlane that he doesn't always get American Dad's sense of humour, but enough other people like it for him to continue to make it.

I've also finished the series but I didn't quite get that from the final two episodes. Tiny tiny spoilers below

Yes, it featured some of Escobar's most hideous crimes, but that was still surrounded by far too much footage of his relationship with his family and how much he loved his wife, factors which have been

It's definitely a series which is way too much in love with it's villain, which is a major major flaw for me. It's not an issue I have in a fictional series, but when it's based on the life of an absolute **** it's all rather problematic.
