I think he's a superb writer, and I'm a huge fan of much of his work, but I have to admit it's been a good decade since I've fallen madly in love with something he's written so I'm not too dismayed by this news. Especially as I really loved the short films he's made so far and would be fascinated to see him explore

If I could upvote this a hundred times I would. I mean East London's has pleasant areas but Leytonstone is easily one of the bleakest. Not quite as bad as Dagenham, but close…

That's very true, but there were still quite a few series that I wish they'd covered, like Another Period, Difficult People, and Braindead. Plus Zoo, though I know that is a bit naff I can't help but like it.

Jon, I read in an interview that you wanted a fourth season of Delocated, could you tell us what that might have included?

Back in December 2007 on Christmas Eve a friend messaged me online to say that there'd been a fuck up on Amazon, and the whole Seinfeld Collection had been mispriced and was selling for £9.97. I bought it immediately but presumed the order wouldn't be honoured, but then on December 29th, it arrived, which made it the

Ha, me too.

These are all great questions, I'm rewatching Delocated for the third time right now and loving it even more than I originally did, so would love to hear more about how it was made.

I'm pretty sure that Neon Joe season 2 has been officially announced. Hang on…Ah yeah, this is from wiki: "Turner issued a press release on May 12, 2016 confirming that Neon Joe, Werewolf Hunter would be a returning for another season. Glaser later confirmed on his Tumblr that series would be returning"

Would love to know if that's true or not. I mean the series ends perfectly, but despite that I'd love to see more of it.

You're missing out hugely then, I'd recommend obtaining Delocated as it's easily one of the funniest and most inventive comedies of the century so far.

I wanted to like this, I'm very fond of Caitlin Moran and roughly the same age so the nostalgia factor should've worked, but I just found it to be a bit bland and obvious unfortunately. Hopefully it'll be a bit like Shameless and the US version will improve upon the original, I'm fond of Cody due to the United States

I was a bit disappointed. I loved the first two episodes of the finale but this did feel a bit rushed and flat in places. Though any scene with Beatrice in was a delight. And Peepers. But then that kind of goes without saying.

I really hope he sticks around for season three, as he was definitely the best addition to the cast this year.

I missed Brett Gelman's appearances in it, especially as the jail episode was such a highlight. But then I know he's doing about 100 other shows right now and so isn't available often.

Heh, I might be doing the same thing right now. :)

Likewise, you summed up the problems with the series perfectly. It's a shame as it's best it's something all a bit special, I guess all we can do is hope that they're aware of some of the faults of the season and next year will be tighter.

I find it incredibly frustrating but I can understand why. As much as some of us love those shows, the comment count for each episode showed how few we are, and ultimately it wouldn't be cost effective to keep on paying the writers when hardly anyone reads them.

It's really pleasing to see Holy Motors on the list, I love it to pieces and have tried to convince so many other people to watch it, but after describing what it is they rarely do. But I'll trick them in to one day. Mark my words.

Gah, I was hoping the AV Club might comment on the music in the show from David Devant and His Spirit Wife, mainly as they're mostly forgotten now. But I was a fan of the band back then and it was the only reason I watched Asylum.

Have you seen it out of interest, and is is it any good? A friend has a really poorly transferred vhs copy of it, but I've never got round to watching it.
