The at times quite horrible but occasionally funny porn parody Doctor Whore has a great joke about diversity in the series, where the 11th Doctor regenerates in to a black female, and asks why the surprise as surely it wouldn't be another old white guy, before the companion whispers in to her ear that's exactly what

Late 1980s / early 1990s Leonard Cohen for me, especially as in this alternative world I'd carry a gun and force people to sing at all times.

If that did happen I'd immediately change my name to Penvelope.

It's odd, I really enjoyed the first three seasons but this latest one is pretty flat. There's been the odd decent line or moment, and I do find it interesting, but it's rare that I find myself laughing.

I loved that run as well, and wish Cornell was given a Luthor series to write. But then I'm a huge fan of Cornell in general and wish he was given anything and everything he'd like to do.

King of the Hill - And I won't hear any argument against this. Any!!! :)

I almost went to see it last week but caught Sing Street instead, which I kind of regret as it's a very average affair. But I have issues with Singer, both as a director and as a person, and people who I know were disappointed by it, so I'm happy to wait until it's released online.

Good lord no, I'm happy to step in when the writers are being lazy, but I'd never take over one of Dikachu's weekly threads!

Because no one's around to do this - US Box Office News:

I fear we've seen the last of the acting troupe, which means no more of The Actor Kevin Eldon too. :(

I've really enjoyed the Marvel Netflix series so far but despite trying my absolute best, I'm not enthusiastic about this. The character seemed so drab and one dimensional in Jessica Jones, and was easily the worst thing about it, and the idea of watching a whole series of him sitting around being all arsey, bar the

Indeed, thanks Will, this was a superb read. I loved the series back when I was 15/16 and it aired in the UK, and whilst not a big hit it seemed to be received warmly, so it came as a shock when I found out several years later that it was considered to be a huge failure. That said, I've never revisited it as I've a

And Bojack Horseman too. Plus Another Period. So that's something, at least.

I know a lot of people have said that, but I don't understand it at all. From the get go the comic was very anti-religion, and moved at an incredible pace, whereas the opposite applies here.

Sue Dibney's death was the point where I decided I couldn't be arsed with mainstream DC titles anymore, they crossed a line with that decision and it just wasn't fun for me any more. I've read a few over the years (Doom Patrol, Animal Man) but I've no love for the universe these days which is an awful shame as I did

I've not seen it (yet), but ever since I watched the admittedly fairly rubbish Scary Movie movies I've had a real soft spot for Anna, and thought she was great in the films despite them being pretty terrible, and I'm so glad that Mom has given her the chance to showcase just how great a comic performer she is.

This would have been great if they'd kept the show exactly the way it is, bar that they casually mention that they make the burgers out of human flesh once a season or so.

41 here, and funnily enough the exact same thing happened to me a month ago, and it was all due to the lovely posters here at the AV Club. So thanks! You're lovely!

I've not seen of any of his movies, but from the interview above, and the passion he has for the project, this guy sounds frickin' ace, and now has me excited about the movie.

It definitely was a misguided idea, as yeah, they just made him too much of a shit. I'm just watching the episodes I originally missed and can barely stand it, so it's pretty impressive that they recognised the issues with the show and improved it so much.
