I don't blame FX at all. Society's to blame.

Shut up, Alexander.
I like the songs too, for the most part. However, I'm pretty sure that's because I've heard them many many times on account of my aforementioned wife's love of all thing OMWF.
"He's a wee little puppet man!!!"
AIRPLANE! was on Comedy Central just this Friday morning. And with a house full of in-laws, I figured it was a safe choice (certainly safer than any local newscast), and I pretty much laughed throughout.
Surely, You Can Always Reinvent Yourself
I think that one of the reasons that the internet has absolutely exploded with tribute after tribute to Nielsen — besides the absolute love we all have for AIRPLANE!, POLICE SQUAD! and the NAKED GUN films - is that his late-career reinvention as a comic actor kinda shows people…
@spider,
This is equal parts bad and inevitable
I guess that Buffy fans should be flattered that she's entered the superhero pantheon in this manner.
A Reason to Visit Hollywood Again
It had gone downhill after these guys were taken off of the street.
Actually, it Could Be Worse.
Black Eyed Peas at halftime, followed by a GLEE that's about Thriller?
Sorry!
First time watching this, I didn't really like the Martha Burns character all that much — she just seemed like a bitter, spoiled ex-ingenue who resented the world for the fact she didn't become a big star.
I know those albums get slagged, but you could cull an album from those two records that would stand near the top of his canon. "Leap of Faith," "Local Hero," "The Long Goodbye," hell, even "Tunnel of Love" are all pretty great songs.
My wife bought one for my birthday, it should be here today!!
Once again, "unlikeable" does NOT mean "uninteresting." I LOVED Artie — he's one of my favorite characters in the history of TV — but I sure as shit wouldn't want to work for him.
Larry is feared by his staff, not just because he is the boss, but also because he is mercurial, unpredictable and clearly doesn't like to be around people.
Fair enough, though at the very least I would say that they're unlikeable.
Best TV Show of the 90s
And yeah, that includes The Simpsons and Buffy.
Give Spaced A Few More Episodes
Like — oh I dunno — Cougar Town or Community, it takes Spaced 3 or 4 episodes to hit its stride. But once it does (either the zombie ep or especially the paintball ep, depending on your perspective), it becomes the show that people utterly rave about.
The Peter Gunn / Every Breath Mash-Up
That just might be my favorite use of music in the entire run of The Sopranos. It always teeters on the edge of being flashy for the sake of being flashy, but the fact that it gives us so much information WHILE being flashy (both musically and visually) gives it a lot of power.
Here's My Problem With The Shredding
These people don't have digital copies of those files somewhere?
