This Makes Sense
Ever since he had the back surgery, you can't keep Bono out of the clubs.

It Was Actually More Conceptual
The Juggalo was pissed at Cheese's actions in the fifth season of The Wire, and wanted to express that displeasure.
I've loved the Velvets even longer than I've loved Big Star.
@Dwide,
I know that Westerberg idolized Chilton, but seriously, The Replacements weren't all that influenced by them.
Postscript: I Am The Cosmos
I know that it was put together over a decade after Chris Bell died, and probably wasn't the record he would have made had he lived, but I AM THE COSMOS is a more than worthy postscript to the first two Big Star albums, and, in its way, a perfect complement to the third one.
Welcome!
It's always great when another person discovers this band, and I suspect that it always will.
Next Year: Heidi Montag!
It should just become a thing: every year, an awful reality show star who has more fame than talent, and more talent than brains gets invited to the Gathering of the Juggalos.
No. I liked how Lord of the Rings ended.
As far as the great "cunnilingus on a robot" debate goes, I'm guessing that both Number Six and Boomer were WAY into it.
No
Also: no.
All I know is that one of the few exits on the I-5 between the 152 and the 80 is the Newman exit.
Really, I just wanted to make the "Guido & Butthead" joke.
Is It Based Upon Pilgrim's Twitter Feed?
Because I'd TOTALLY watch that!!!
Matt & Sean = Guido & Butthead
I agree that there was definitely some wasted potential in the Matt & Sean plotline. For one thing, their instant need to get recognized and move up in the organization felt kind of false, and nearly always played for comedy.

Please Call Me When It's Actually Released
Like "The Hobbit," I can't be bothered with the eternal "will they / won't they?" anymore.
That's Not The Real Name
Like I said last week, the real name is "Hugo."
Marge Simpson as Sex Symbol
Isn't this also the beginning of the ongoing trope/joke/plot point (depending on how you view it) of Marge Simpson as a sex symbol?
