Actually, I think that they're playing Coachella this year.

I'd totally go with Bill Clinton over JFK.

@magnus

The Onion is Probably Pissed
No doubt they've had this story brewing for awhile, and they got timestamped by O'Quinn himself.

Would Prefer a Sequel to Zero Effect
But on the bright side, we'll get a sequel to Sherlock Holmes!!

Let me second what @Karatloz said, and point out that the target demographic — and subject matter — is probably slightly outside of what the AVC usually covers.

Hot to Trot?
So these aliens are just now getting our Happy Days episodes?

@lovecraft

@lexicondevil

I blame Jay Leno for this.

Haaaaate!
While the Letterman commercial was a pretty cool thing, the "Get Back" promo completely wiped out any temporary minor lessening of the hatred I've had for Leno since he originally got the Tonight Show.

I'd Love to Pile On Here
But the fact is that, a year ago, I was working with Justin, whose Twitter feed this is based upon, and he's a genuinely smart and funny guy.

@Uaethaep,

"Voice of Harold" was originally one of the b-sides to the 12" of "So. Central Rain," and came out before Reckoning. And even though I'd read about it being an improvised goof over a backing track for another song (kinda like the 'mats "Lovelines), it still took quite some time before "7 Chinese Bros" became the

Drive-by Truckers
I actually really liked the compilation they put out last year, The Fine Print, but maybe it's too soon for it to be included on a list like this.

I loved Pavement's records more than the Archers of Loaf albums, but the Archers were wayyyyy better live. I saw them in a small place in Berkeley in 94 or 95, and they just destroyed.

As I've no doubt said a zillion times, I'm also one of those who have been on board since Chronic Town (actually since I first heard "Wolves, Lower" on a Trouser Press flexi-disc), and that copy of the EP sits framed on the wall of my office at home.

I'd go with nostalgia for me: the early syndication of TOS was what got me into Sci-Fi in the first place.

Or even in the beginning. I always feel like the Jake character existed because somebody thought that it would interesting to have a widower Trek Captain raising an adolescent.

@JimZipCode As did Lazarus Long in the Heinlein books.
