SPACE HIPPIES?? SPACE PUNKS!!
Luckily, "The Way to Eden" became such a punchline that TNG never did a follow-up SPACE PUNKS!!! episode.

@Archie Leach, just a late agreement on "Holiday." While not quite as perfect as "The Philadelphia Story," (the "C.K. Dexter Haveeennnnn" scene is the peak of American comedy), it has more to say about class politics AND screwball comedies than "Bringing Up Baby."
Ebert Rules Twitter
Roger Ebert's twitter feed is day in and day out the smartest, most eclectic and flat-out ballsiest of any celebrity you can possibly name. He opines about politics, culture, and anything else that comes to mind with the same economy of language and utter fearlessness that has always informed his…
I still think that the problem with Get The Knack wasn't the production, but rather that there really were only a handful of memorable songs.
I'd characterize Scotty as a "functioning" alcoholic. After all, he's able to get them out of scrape after scrape.
@El Santo
"As Tasty As You When They're Old"
I'm definitely going to put that on my Valentine's Day card for my wife!!
This exists on DVD, but Batman doesn't
As if we needed any more proof that there is no god.
Guess I'm wrong, then. But I'm glad to have five seasons, especially if the fifth one turns out to be as good as the last couple of seasons.

I'm one of those horror stories. You might have read a couple of angry posts over the years on Medialoper.
I've Stuck With Cable to Keep TiVo and NetFlix Streaming
I've stuck with my cable company — Charter — for this very reason. Despite the fact that they have a zillion fewer HD channels that DirecTV, Charter (grudgingly) supports my HD TiVo box.
Connections is AWESOME. I watched it several years ago on TLC. James Burke is some kind of crackpot genius.
I don't think it's having the most talent that matters, but rather having the inspiration and chemistry to make the most of your talent. The fact that many (if not most) contemporary session players are "better" than Entwhistle and (maybe even) Moon doesn't mean jackshit.
Abort The Talking Babies
Personally, I think that those creeptastic Talking Baby ads make an incredibly strong case FOR abortion.
Sigh. So what happens when our impressionable youth think that travesty of a mockery of a sham of a halftime show in any way represents The Who?
I'm with those who were creeped out as a kid by the scenes of the mobs looking into the spaceship window. But even then, I was taken out of the premise by the logistics of the whole thing.
