I retroactively hate Platoon because of movies like NBK and U-Turn. That whiplash inducing editing, and "wow, look how edgy I am" style…

Being a child of the '80s, I also have a soft spot for those Billy Joel songs.  Amusingly, my former, too-cool-for-you, hipster roommate downloaded a bunch of those songs from Napster back in its heyday, burned them to cd, then deleted them to try to hide the evidence.  Come on, man, if you like it, own up to it.
