Masturbatory incest!

Jocelyn was kind of awesome this episode. And Gene should totally date her, assuming he's into girls/hasn't been put off on girls by Courtney and has sufficiently moved on from Marilyn the manatee puppet.

"Your name is Gene.
You’ve got heart and soul.
I even like your haircut;
But, hey, where’s the bowl?"

And, at least no one was killed, right?

I also loved how annoyed Jimmy Jr. was with how long it was taking for the waiter to bring the check. And how understandably reluctant he was at giving the waiter $10 to speed the rotation of the restaurant. Jimmy Jr. should look into going Dutch for his future dates to seem less peevish.

Kind of like the Pig Wheel.

“Stop yelling.”

“Oh, and Gene, here’s your lunch, honey. Peppy-roni pizza, chicken pom pomodoro, and a cheer-liter of soda.
“That’s about ten thousand calories of cheer puns.”

Fun fact: Michiel Huisman plays a record producer, Liam, on Nashville, which two episodes ago featured a cast member who also mixed pills and alcohol and collapsed on stage.

Yes! And Huisman will play his own lover, I love it. Charlie Kaufman needs to be in on this.

There are two shots I loved in this episode that inform the situation Will and Hannibal are in so perfectly. The first is in the dinner scene between Will, Hannibal and Alana, in which Hannibal looks down into his glass of red wine and we see his reflection. The last is in the cooking scene between Will and Hannibal

*audible groan turns into a chuckle and slow-clapping*

I wish whoever puts together the previews for the next episode would take the approach Matt Weiner does with Mad Men's next episode previews and just made them this dadaistic shuffle of shots and line readings. They're great because you can construct your own little narratives about what may but probably won't happen.

Probably because of this I didn't remember her being so well endowed, but I just googled her and, yeah, SHE GOT THEM THAAAANGS.

Lakeside or GTFO.

The Cure for the Common Director?

Not gonna happen, Jonathan from Buffy. What does he want to be called, Rape-y Prison Guard from Justified?

Since early in the second season after Finch was kidnapped by Root, he's made these gradual adjustments to his ethics, a gradual descent from his idealism. In "Triggerman," he echoed something Root said, suggesting Reese eschew protection of one Irrelevant (a.k.a. Mayor Little Bob Little and Chesapeake Ripper groupie
