This felt like that Lost episode, "Across the Sea." But worse and without the benefit of Allison Janney, Titus Welliver or Mark Pellegrino.

It has picked up since last night's episode I thought. For the first time I'm actually looking forward to watching the next episode.

That would be great, but I very much enjoyed Erik Adams' episodic reviews of Les Revenants and hope he'll pick up this beat as well should the AV Club choose to cover it weekly.

Even though I don't think an American remake is at all necessary (see also: Broadchurch) and will never be as wonderful as Les Revenants, I'm pretty excited that Carlton Cuse is working with Raelle Tucker on this. At the very least, this can't be worse than ABC's Resurrection, nor any worse than A&E's Those Who Kill.

(but biologically House Meownnister)

Emma's quitting scene was so heartbreaking. All she wants is to be a part of a family and to have a maternal figure in her life, to be included (like Regular-Sized Rudy!). For a while, at least in the first season, it seemed like she was getting that.

It did look pretty dickish, but, like Norma, Romero was too preoccupied with finding and questioning Norman to listen to Emma. I think without realizing it, Romero did exactly what Emma was so upset about people doing to her and essentially ignored her.

This confused the hell out of me too, not being a How I met Your Mother viewer. But, I eventually put two and two together and remembered what I heard of what happened on the HIMYM series finale from the Firewall & Iceberg and Talking TV With Ryan & Ryan podcasts.

The tantrum Norma threw outside of Dylan's work was hysterical. It's great hearing what Norma has to say when she's completely unhinged, but watching that tantrum through a security monitor with no audio had the effect of highlighting Vera Farmiga's typically great physical performance. And Remo's smile when he sees

Andy Zaltzman in a nude, profane pun run. Make this happen, John Oliver and HBO.

"Well, there are—parenting books."

“Every human is dead, except for me—especially the men, so there’s no men, so it’s okay to sleep alone. Goodnight, kids.”

Someone really needs to autotune Gayle's poem.

Ah, I love this show!

I like the way Alison thinks.

Yeah, drugs won't get dolphins anywhere in life. Narwhale piscine necrophilia.

That was golden.

I'm glad Margot is questioning ursa'pport from Hannibal of killing her brother.

I like to think in that situation Will did what outdoor cats do when they kill a bird or rat or something. He presented his kill to his companion.
