There are some films that so engrained in our collective cultural consciousness that its hard to avoid them e.g.Empire Strikes Back, Citzen Kane, Planet of the Apes. I think spoilers are just pretty much something we have to live with, because anything popular will eventually be satirized and you can't satirize

The Office, is probably my best example of this feeling…..season 8 was just upsetting.

"That is genuinely very cool of him." - certainly is, AV Club commentators will have a hard time twisting this to make him out to be dick, but I'm sure they'll manage it

RIk Mayall, Bob Hoskins, Scooby Doo actor and now a voice actor on Hey Arnold - depressing thought, I'm now at an age (25) where the entertainers I liked as a child are starting to die :'> (

I don't want to sound mean (which is something people say directly before sounding mean) - I know the usual trajectory of things are an actor becomes popular, becomes loved, becomes hated - and I find it hard to criticise Aaron Paul because he seems such a genuine guy - but I hate those Xbox commercials. They seemed

Ozymandias is the best hour of television ever, the gold standard which every subsequent piece of television will be negatively compared against.

So, I've just been reading up on the parables, Zen riddles and Philosophical ideas that the titles are based round (I quite like the muddy road one and the heap, also knowing what Burdians Ass means adds another layer of brilliance to that episode). I think I would have predicted how this was going to end if I knew

I really liked Dwight got his little moment in the sun this week - I've always had a soft spot for Dwight (I suppose because I started watching in season 4 when Dwight was at his most vulnerable and human). After the cold open, I assumed the episode would be about Dwight being insufferable and demanding credit - was

Like a dick, I just asked what was meant by the glove story (like after 950 comments, this wouldn't have already been discussed) - anyway I think what Molly meant was a decent person would realise one glove was no good to him so would drop the other so it could potentially help someone else - Lester wouldn't do this.
I

I kind of predicted Malvo demise was going to involve a bear trap after the diner scene last week. The only thing that stops this being an A+ episode of television is that the FBI agent didn't say "I'm a rabbit Lester thank you for leaving me with favorite food [smug scoff]" during the UK Office riddle.

Man still having nightmares about Champ Road (the final secret levelon Mario World 3D) that was a hard level. Both the blinking blocks and the speedy bit at the end where you have to collect the coins- I'm pretty good at platformers but I spent over an hour on that level before I successfully beat it

Nintendo seem to go in cycles of having one really success console than one not so successful console.

I went for Pikmin as my free game with Mario

So which Mario Kart game would you all say is the best?

So which is your fav Mario Kart of all time - For me its Mario Kart 64.

I love my Wii U and feel that history will judge the console well. The Wii U reminds me more of the Dream Cast than the Game Cube - because its quite unappreciated during its life cycle, but years later will achieve a kind of cult status amongst serious gamers (when its too late) and will be fondly remembered.

I'm in the UK and I am shamed to say I was one those idiots that queued up at midnight and bought this - went home and played it straight away (not sure why I just didn't go to bed and buy it after work the next day like a normal humanoid) - As someone who understands the limits of kart genre it really is amazing, one

Andy was great when he was sparringly used as a secondary character as the over eager to please, insecure, Cornell grad with anger management problems clearly always bubbling away under the surface.

I really liked that season 9 episode too. ColBatGuano, I don't think they was saying it was Pam that made him a 'lunkhead drunk with no ambition' - it was about how the love of a good woman can change your outlook on life and therefore your actions.

Just on your Windwaker point, Nintendo games tend to age better in general, because they don't go for realistic, rather they go for their own unique art style - this is kind of timeless. But as for PS and XBox - what looks realistic today will probably look crap in 5 years
