"Mr. Pote, Homer Simpson here. When you sold me this house, you forgot to mention one little thing [shouts] You didn't tell me it was built on an Indian burial ground! NO, YOU DIDN'T! Well, that's not my recollection. Uh-huh… okay, well all right. Good-bye….He says he mentioned it five or six times."

I'm ok with the feel and texture of Wool, but I don't like the word 'woolly' when written. The double o then double l just doesn't look right to me. Anyone else feel this?

Has this game only just come out in the America's? It been out since like June in the UK!

I must admit, out of amiibo, skylander, Disney Infinity and all that stuff I don't properly understand this one does appeal the most to me. At least they wont be releasing a new game every year, instead this one should last 2-3 years, with them adding more content via the add on packs and free in game dlc for one.

T'is very sad news indeed - I love Nintendo and watch the Directs but I wasn't aware he was ill. Iwata was a breath of fresh air. So many CEOs come up through business. Iwata started off as a programmer. His primary focus was not on shareholders, but on gamers. That's beyond laudable in this industry. A funny and

" I like to divide Simpsons eras in terms of animation quality and the brightness of the yellow"

Ha ha - when I opened youtube, this came up in my recommended….youtube knows me well - that was masterful!

This point has probably been made before but with Toy Story 1, when the Toys scared Sid was that really neccessary? As a child it was easy to condemn him for hurting the toys-but now although I obviously don't like the though of anything suffering I am not convinced he was such a bad guy, because it wasn't as though

I really like the sound of that Inside Out. The concept sounds really creative and I was slightly worried that Pixar was just starting to move past its golden age. All recent Pixar films have still been great, but they've been playing a bit safe recently with lots of sequels which they used to shy away from.

Hi Peter, good point. Normally, I don't care that much about accuracy in sci-fi films, but Jurassic Park is different because it got me interested in dinosaurs at the age of about 4. JP was revolutionary, everything since has just been a replication of something that became outdated scientifically when, as a

The fact that it is fully open and has been for awhile is another thing that annoys me. I'm annoyed because the whole point about the first JP and to an extent Lost World, along with Crichton's novel, is that they provide a commentary on the capitalist nature of the world currently, trying to make money from a

If you're in it for the dinosaurs I wouldn't bother. The first two films were relatively accurate. Spielberg consulted with paleontologists regarding what things might be like, on proportions and posture and aesthetics. He didn't have feathers on them back then but at the time the feather debate was just forming, but

Agree on Mario 64, I'm in the middle of a play through now. I have to say Mario 64, is quite challenging - not just in terms of tight platforming, but you do actually have to think a little for some of the more obscure out of the way stars. The puzzles and challenges are certainly less obvious then any Mario are after

Well your theory is easily as good as the Pixar shared universe theory. Well done.

Again with the dish cloth episode. Whenever anyone defends a mediocre episode relative to a worse one, the dish cloth episode always gets mentioned. There is so much dislike for that episode but is it really that bad? Its not like it was actually about a dish cloth, it was just a framing device to have the simpsons

I haven't seen this yet, but I'm disappointed this episode sounds like its not great. Reason: I was at a thing in the Science Museum, in London Kensington and Al Jean mentioned with enthusiasm they had an idea for an episodes featuring Lisa as a mathlete, which obviously turned into this episode. Shame the way he

Good post and I agree with alot of what you say. I'm not so deluded that I can't see its declined because it has, but I think its only bad when compared with itself at its best. Its still a good show and I think perhaps if you are only getting a few laughs per season, maybe this is as a result of your tastes changing

To be honest, that's a little unfair. Simpsons has declined but I would be sad to see it go. Its kind of comforting that they are still churning out new episodes so I hope they work it out.

Its not a funny sign or couch gag or anything, but something that get a laugh out of me [now] is Maude Flanders look of utter disdain when Helen Lovejoy is saying 'won't somebody think of the children'. I like it because I've seen that episode so many times and that 'meme-perfect' line has really entered the Zeitgeist

Wasn't there once talk of a Mario 64 2, for that N64 add on thing, I think it was called the DD. An N64 Mario sequel not seeing the light of day, surely has to be the biggest cancelled game tragedy.
