And interestingly Who Let the Dogs Out? qualifies for this list. The subtext is pretty well hidden but it's definitely there.

I actually thought that the totem pole was too over the top. The tone of the show is at its best visceral and morbid but not ridiculous. The totem pole, as well as the guy who made himself a flayed angel, (I mean c'mon) were too ridiculous and bombastic for my taste.
What's this about blowing guys?
That's one of the few times Homer has shown affinity towards something healthy, like fruit. The other notable instance being naturally comparing marriage to an orange, with it's outer skin and the sweet sweet inner [mgumbhl]…
"Don't the best of them bleed it out/
Yeah, I'm pretty sure the Didster wouldn't have much of a career without that song. He's been going back to that well ever since. Even with D.I.D.D.Y., a Neptunes-assisted club banger, he says "My friend died in Los Angeles" (or something to that effect) just to remind everyone that he used to know Biggie, yo.
I should have capitalized it because it's more like a place or a state of mind or actually both. Like if someone says that being in, I dunno, Australia is both a geographical location and a certain mind state. Deep Internet is exactly like that.
This is how things work when you're in deep internet. It could be even more complicated, though. At least the other guy seems like an actual person and not the furry, genderswapped version of Severus Snape who's living on the astral plane.
…the love you make…
So Vanilla Ice is the guy that's gonna get rocks and Faygo bottles filled with piss thrown at him this year.
Him being treated shit reminds me of Venturestein which makes all kinds of sense because unnecessary cruelty seems to run in the Venture family.
And he obviously calls The Monarch! Duhh…
One thing that I didn't see mentioned but which made me lose my shit. When the new octopus-guy who confronts Shore Leave about the costume calls someone and asks them to come down. There's a small pause and "No, there's no cover!"
Pretty much what I thought right before the cut to credits.
I absolutely loved when Shore Leave said "I know! Jungle is so nineties!"
Oh thank you Lord, there have been no moppets this season.
It isn't, but according to reliable sources it's necessary.
Or Troy Barnes?
I borrowed you this… this "weed whacker" and you never returned it!
He's been working for almost 20 years now, released 15 studio albums and if you take into account that every rap song is basically over a full page of lyrics, yes.
