I also love how it's used in the very last lines with Jeff gently singing "Then I go and spoil it all…" in the elevator. In reality that would be the epitome of humiliation, impossible to recover from, but in this show it's the ending of the first episode.

Normally I'd say something about being a nerd and being obsessive here, but I'm way too impressed to even consider it.

It's totally final. It just takes some time to get to the end.

Well, worse movie anyway.

I actually think there were substantial problems with parts of season 3 and some episodes even before that. Community is not perfect, Harmon is no unerring genius and there were probably many other people and factors that made the show what it was.

Sorry, what isn't the Community-esque formula?

Good point about the podcast. They should have been recording it with headphones and mics that aren't connected to anything.

I mean that Community has never wasted a guest star like that before. Also even if he hasn't done anything of note lately doesn't mean that he couldn't or shouldn't be used to an effect on the show.

I think Jenny Kiss'd Me is almost deliriously positive in this regard. While it says that everyone grows old and mortality sucks, it also says that a single kiss can make it all seem worthwhile and valuable.

Sometimes A and B-stories work, sometimes it's good if there's no real B story (like in most of the parody episodes and the anthology episodes). The stories should, in any case, have some point of contact or at least have something to do with each other. In this episodes it was just two things happening at the same

Eh, at least he had a function. I don't really see the Malcolm McDowell character affecting the plot in any way.

Yeah. Stupid babies need the most attention!

I do love your wide-eyed optimism @Scrawler2:disqus , I truly do.

HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

You are the worst.

So the jokes aren't crap if you've never watched the show before?

Someone get on that gimmick account!

"Yeah, it was a bit over the map with the Chang plot."

It's also the tune Abed hums when he's telling the group his logical Halloween story and the tune Troy hums before he discovers Annie stepped on the Dark Knight DVD.
