I thought of "Stay Free," a "cheers to ya, mate," kind of song. Like a bro-to-bro anthem of friends you lose track of but wish 'em the best. Plus, why would you want to put a song with the last lyric "Stay Free" on a mix for someone you're trying to woo? Mixed signals, much?

@ Invisible Man:

Agreed w/ Tri. I remember hearing that song a little bit after "Closing Time" started to die as a single, and I thought, "Why did they bother with that other shit? This is the jam." I think I even used it on a mix or two…maybe they were radio dedications, I can't remember.

Rear vaginal penetration leading to a forceful and spontaneous rear anal penetration, coupled with a blow to the back of the head.

Did he give just one, or three?

Wasn't there rumors that the excerpts from the books-within-the-book were going to be filmed and released separately? Like supplemental DVDs released the same day as the film. That would cut out quite a bit of time from the finished product.

Oh yeah, and LOST and new Flight of the Conchords (hopefully a new album along with the season?)

Do you really count Freddy v. Jason as part of the Friday canon? I assumed it was like AVP, not quite Alien but not quite Predator.

I fear with Tasha that only Snyder can fuck up this movie.

Oh yes, I can't wait for that new Animal Collective album. I didn't even know Andrew Bird was releasing something this year. I'll definitely be checking that out.

@ Prison Wine:

Here's one
That me and a friend of mine think about occasionally, not sure the latest status: Garth Ennis' Preacher series, either as a TV series (HBO had interest at one point) or a feature length film.

I will defend the Indiana Jones episode based solely on the merit of the "The Accused" rape scene. Lucas' face becoming all flushed….I will never be able to wash that memory from my mind.

so glad you pointed out…
The after school special feel of the pubes story. Totally spot-on, especially when Laura finally gets the advice from her mom.

I thought all the scenes set in Frank and Charlie's apartment building were spot on in adding to the utter filth Charlie and Frank live in. Not just there room, but did you check the people in that hallway? Glue O.D. or no, that would only make sense for Charlie and Frank.

Although the joke was already dead to me by the time of the guinea pig reveal, I did appreciate the use of real pigs instead of animated one. I thought it was a funny little aesthetic perversion of Cloverfield.

Man, I'm slipping…I misspelled "Doug" in the SSP board too.
