Do we really feel safe that Jo and Alex are done? I'd feel safer betting on in had she not just watched her best friend watch her bf die. Can't help but think they'll connect that somehow.

After hiding in dumpy sweaters and behind those dumb glasses all season, it was nice to be reminded of how strikingly beautiful Zooey/Jess is. I feel like Jess has been in low stakes cruise control for the last two seasons, and I look forward to seeing her her something to do again.
I actually see nothing with Reagan. She's just too one note. His past relationships with Olivia Munn and Lizzy Caplan weren't awesome, but they jump off the screen by comparison.
I feel like the criticisms levied at Kaling were more about her only dating white guys, not the need for her to date an Indian guy. Semantics, perhaps?
I loved Jess' "Hurry up you almost-people" as she herded the children across the street.
It's also pretty unlikely that the character of Jess would wait until they last minute. TV solution to TV problems, I guess.
I see what you're saying, and just can't agree. For the first three seasons, I likely would have. I certainly sensed a fear of success about Nick, and never really doubted his intelligence. I don't really think he's stupid, which is why when his character is stupid, it bothers me. There is a not so fine line…
It seems unlikely that Arizona will be that straight up vindictive. My guess is Callie will stay and Arizona will allow things to return to semi normalcy. However, if something comes up down the road where they disagree on how to proceed with something regarding Sophia (be it medical or otherwise), Arizona would…
Maybe as the person stuck saying saying the lines, he's as much over the story line as we are. "Fuck no, this Riggs crap ain't coming up in my episode. Let it be for a week".
I assume Arizona would continue to basically share custody were Callie to just stay in Seattle. Seems like Callie has a pretty easy (and not particularly unreasonable) choice to make.
It's pretty much all they do with Jess. Well, she's on her fourth different teaching job in 5 seasons, and that is just as stale now. (Worse, they just eliminated some fun supporting characters. I already miss Dr. Foster).
Brooklyn 99 uses handhelds and zoom techniques.
Well, he did have sex with that Air Bnb chick. And he was about to have sex with Reagan on Jess' bed.
It's one of those unfortunate things that comes with a TV show. Deschanel and Johnson have a tremendous chemistry, but the writers don't seem to know how to write them as a couple. At least not nearly as well as they wrote them being roommates that clearly had a little something special between them. They've never…
In Season 1-3 he had more of an edge. He had an angst to him where his idiosyncrasies were present, but didn't define him. S1-2 Nick was something of a failure, but I was interested to know why. The last 2 seasons have told us he was just THAT lazy and THAT gross and THAT stupid. In S3 the show turned broader, and…
As opposed to pairing them up with rent-a-lovers that come and go, leaving zero impact? Nick and Jess aren't the driving force of the show these days, but they sure were for the first two, vastly superior seasons.
I was no fan of Reagan, enjoying her scenes with Jess far more than any of her other stuff. Still, I felt the character was damaged by going from mildly annoyed by Nick's pathetic slobbering to being "crazy about him" in the blink of an eye. She would've be better served to just be a platonic outsider to everyone…
She got a little better, but she was largely forgettable. Best thing you can say is that she (usually) fell to the background while the regulars carried the day.
Shh. I'm not sure Elizabeth actually existed anymore. Nor did any of the… stuff… that happened during her tour. I don't think she's Canon.
This was fine. It's more his tragically unfunny stuff in the first episode. Luckily I can't really remember specifics, but it was his failing to recognize basic sayings, etc. It's happened before (the awful ham sanitizer joke), and it takes me out of things.
