Funny. Granted it's probably just a reflection of the people I hang out with, but it seems like most of my female friends love The Daily Show, Colbert, It's Always Sunny, The Office (one of them got me into it, actually), Futurama, South Park, 30 Rock, etc dearly. Basically, all the comedy stuff I love. Okay, granted

Internships have become a unique, institutionalized problem all their own, though. Yeah, the dude sweeping up the floors and actually selling the products for 7.25 an hour really isn't getting a fair (or livable) cut of the profits from the store, but entire jobs are disappearing in favor in "internship experience."

I am looking forward to an orderly election all summer, which will eliminate the need for a violent blood bath.

"Tampax" is apparently the AV Club alias for Stephen Colbert.

So…I guess you could
say that this is WINNING strategy on CBS' part, huh?

"I guess Darryl's jumping ship to a different series, so is he out of Darryl's-the-boss contention?"

Actually, I agree Fudge. That's a fantastic episode.

Holy shit, I forgot Conan wrote both those episodes.

Hey, I watched Lisa's Wedding today too. Top ten episode for me, I think.
My favorite episode is Lisa's Substitute, though. Some other top ones in no order:
Bart the General
Last Exit to Springfield
Cape Feare
Two Cars in Every Garage, Three Eyes on Every Fish
Mother Simpson
Bart Sells His Soul
Homer Badman
Radio Bart
Lisa's

Regarding FG, I don't really see why that would be the case. My general suspicion is that a lot of people just grew out of it like I did, frankly.

Finally
A semi-decent reason to see this piece of shit.

Regarding early and late FG, I can honestly say I can't tell the difference between the two. I liked Family Guy when it was first on, but I was also like 15. My tastes changed a lot even a few years later. Though, it's striking that I loved Futurama and the earlier Simpsons, and still do, while the same episodes of FG

I've only seen bits of this show, but the dialogue was so bad I think it gave me cancer. I mean, I was really shocked when I heard some of it.

Fair point, I had to look up WLB on Wikipedia because I couldn't even 100 percent remember whether Zemeckis had made it. It's a movie I tend to forget about periodically. But it's funny that it doesn't even come up in a discussion of the man's good/bad ratio.

With no offense intended toward anyone here, I always love that the defense of American Dad is that "it has plots!" I always thought that was kind of a basic requirement for a sitcom.

I'm a little amused though that nowhere in the comments has anyone mentioned "What Lies Beneath." I guess people have forgotten about it?

Though I like BTTF 2 and 3, I don't really factor them in that LOTR way…it's not like they were planned out from the beginning. Also, they aren't nearly as good.

I dunno. They're good friends with Bill Hader, apparently.

Holy Shit
I literally had NO idea this show was still on. I remember everyone loving it when I was in high school, but I just assumed that by now it was all reruns.

Wow, only WolfmansRazor said Toy Story. And I'm kind of ashamed that I didn't think of it before anything else.
