Aren't retro video game movies becoming a trend about a decade too late?

I really liked the touch of having fake Connie's "what you want- want- want-" loop matching up with the sound of the suits of armor banging their axes.
Steven Universe Season 1 Scorecard
It was pretty easy to tell this episode was storyboarded by guys, huh.
Not to mention AV Club's other review of the movie is positive.
There's a big difference between being primarily interested in stories for their plots and concentrating solely on plots to the exclusion of other elements.
The character Greg was interviewed?
I've always just thought of the Alien movies as in different continuities anyway. Each one starts off by nullifying the accomplishments in the one before it, but each one has minor inconsistencies with the one before it so it's all good.
Moffat's said he enjoyed the lack of explanation for Ainley's Master's continued survival so I'm hoping he just handwaves Missy's revival. After watching Sherlock I'm not too eager to see another big convoluted explanation for a death cheat from Steven Moffatt.
I appreciate what he's going for but I think a degree of balance is necessary. If it's too hand-holdy and wraps everything up solidly the story is unlikely to stick with you, but then if everything's totally ambiguous then the lack of emotional involvement can also lead to a feeling of slightness. Nearly all my…
I saw this a couple of years ago on Hulu. (Is it worth buying the Criterion disc for a single 41-minute film? I don't know, but Hulu Plus is worth it for the enormous Criterion library, especially since it has a lot of films they haven't released on disc.)
As a longtime member of EvaGeeks it's kind of weird seeing AV Club link to an article on its wiki. And use EvaGeeks' preferred term "Spear of Longinus" rather than the dub's "Lance of Longinus".
She would have been fine anyway. She's a shapeshifter!
I saw it today and there were significantly more adults in the audience than kids.
Like the review says, despite what the trailers show, most of this movie is hand drawn. There are literally no American hand drawn movies slated for wide release after this one, and the last one was Winnie the Pooh in 2011 (which bombed). In other words, go see this whether you want to or not because hand drawn…
You linked to the right episode but surely you could have found an upload somewhere that included the opening with the Sopranos parody and DW yelling "Mom! Arthur **** your favorite **** bird!"
Couldn't this room be the rabbits' whole house interior? Like, maybe they're in an RPG?
I don't think the car bit works very well. It's definitely a conversation these people could conceivably have, but they've just dumped so much exposition that dumping even more unrelated exposition at this moment is tacky no matter what, especially since it's followed by even more exposition.
Has fun on the battlefied what, though? What did they battlefy?!
Yeah but think of the Freedom Fries' terrible treatment of the Native Americans.
