Yep. I think that movie in particular showcases Hosoda's penchant for creating strong characters out of minimal screentime. The minor characters created for the movie were just as entertaining as the Straw Hats.

If your source for the summer premiere is Wikipedia, I wouldn't trust it as it isn't cited and I haven't found any other source confirming it. I'd love to see the premiere as early as summer, but I'm not holding my breath.
