Let Gollum keep the Precious!!!

"Wow, who knew an 11 minutes cartoon could be this emotionally powerful?"

I'll see it as long as they keep the clothing true to the book. It's not Ubik without tweed togas, yak hair slippers and propeller beanies.

*facepalms*

How does someone completely gloss over the fact that this episode depicts Batman fighting a robot Tyrannosaurus rex?

Paul got his own separate alien movie.

They stole my idea of making a TV show and getting Joss Whedon to direct an episode.

The Buffy version was pretty nice if I remember correctly.

Unless you're watching a lost episode of a children's cartoon.

The bleeps were always there. Genndy confirmed this in his recent Reddit AMA. You can tell the bleeps in the original sound mix because you can hear other sound effects over them, e.g. when Deedee asks, "Hey, where's the f——-g candy?!" you can still hear swishing noises over the bleep.

The Cube movies for me.

The best part was that it was done just like an infomercial, with the two everyman characters offered a solution by someone who appears out of nowhere and then proceeds to talk to the audience rather than the characters.

I think the creepy music really made this episode. There was a real Mysterious Stranger vibe throughout, intentional or not.

I think everyone can agree the "It's a Groovy Time for a Movie Time" sequence is the best part of Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon Movie Film for Theaters. But I guess that doesn't really count as the opening credits, since there are no credits present and the opening theme occurs later.

Man, I didn't find this funny at all. The animation was great, and it was nice hearing Carolyn Lawrence using her Orel voice, but I'd hoped the writing would be a step up from the usual post-movie episodes since it was stop-mo and on CBS after most younger kids' bedtimes and all.

I read the book back when it first came out. I was eleven at the time and it was my first exposure to that sort of ending so I considered it amazing. I'm… Yeah, I don't know how I feel about it now. But I am very curious if the ending is the same in the movie.
