A question that makes me think turning 40 is turning me into Grandpa Simpson, but is this show consistently aired much quieter relative to most other shows? I always have to turn up the sound many, many belt onions for it. That could just be me or it could be the local cable company or it could be that scamp Urkel,

I went to a couple years ago when I was younger. They went surprisingly well, though to brag, that might have been because I was one of the more featured attendees. I had identifying t-shirts and everything. One overriding aspect was how surprisingly thin everyone but me was.

Another great Tina episode even if it sounds like I missed a few jokes because the local affiliate decided to cut in early to air the same local news promo at the beginning and end of breaks. One of my favorite runners (that I can't recall a single specific example of, but I swear happens a lot) with Tina is how she

That was a great "I no longer have control of this conversation so must resort to my upbringing" moment. Plus it sort of reminded me of the TK421 conversation in Star Wars when Han met the end of his bluster.

I think I have brought this up before, but is the botoxed forehead something Jere Burns is doing, or is it a trait of Wynn Duffy. Because it feels like it'd be a Duffy thing, but if Burns wanted to do the same what a happy coincidence.

It's asking for too much, but I really would have loved it if during the "Archer a-a-a-archer" dance party at least one "The system is down" had been thrown in somewhere.

I'd think that even if they weren't observant and this was just another super-sweet thing that they'd still like to play it safe considering all the relatives (such as that one with the flappers that reminded me strongly of my high school Spanish teacher) — especially the older ones — who might not want to mix their

So where do sushi, crepes and sliders fit on the kosher spectrum? I did notice that the sliders did not appear to have any cheese, so there was at least that.

Best moment of the show for me was Tom's description of how he's just like Mario Batali in every way that he isn't. The confident point to camera on the concluding "who can't cook" was the best.

That's what I thought, too. Also because I got the feeling that they decided it was just so awesome they had to let the take go as long as possible to see how much Rash was going to get out of it so it must have been hard on the other actors there to hold it together if they had expected a quicker cut. God, this

I really enjoyed the taco theme that ran through both episodes. Really tied the night together.

Agreed! It was perfectly executed, plus there was the added bit that the stage slap had been used in the past. Didn't Sue say something implying that it had worked in the past but not this time? The whole bit had an instant bit of history in that in the midst of her mania, she knew exactly what to do when he

I'm starting to get a real Beth from NewsRadio vibe with Gina, at least tonight. Which then makes me think that some sort of plot that involved Holt and Jimmy James with a Gina/Beth facilitating would be just about the best thing ever.

Normally The Neighbors is my favorite Saturday morning show, but I watched it tonight against the laws of man and tides. What a damn delight that show can be.

I do wonder how much Betty there will be in the future since her voice is an otherwise pretty busy person. She could show up silently working in the background I suppose. Or maybe they wrote and recorded ahead of time. So basically the point I started to make is pretty much moot, but I expended the typing time so

To bad for Cyrill that he doesn't sound much … taller on the radio.

By a fun coincidence, I'm reading a book about the events of 1914, so this series and episode in particular have been heavy in my mind of late.

This was a very satisfying season. Sure, it had all the holes and nonsense the show usually has, but, even after this long, I find those holes and nonsense charming. It's still consistent and fun, which is all I want from it.

I can't wait to see the Greengrass version of that adventure.

Hopefully they can get Jim Nabors to sing the title song.
