Time Travelers was easily the best episode of the season, and a big surprise considering how utterly mediocre the rest of it has been.

I liked the episode and think it's pretty unfair to judge it based on your emotional state from the news of the day. In that case you should have delayed or passed it off. Ted's big statement to Barney felt very real, but very out of place in the episode. That wedding date clearly has some trouble brewing.

One last point… has there ever been a more awesome nickname than "The Bringer of Rain"? I mean seriously… damn. The only one I can think that's even close is "The Sword of the Morning" from a Song of Ice and Fie.

I mentioned it last week, but a few others did too. It sort of had to happen for history to play out since Crassus and Cesar both know what he looked like and would have had to identify the body. The half-dead escape thing I didn't see coming tho.

Saxa is basically the most awesome chick that ever lived.

One last comment - after reading all the comments here and thinking about it for the night I realize what I loved about this show.

Underrated in that it rarely gets mentioned among the all time great episodes like "Delicate Things" "Kill them All" "Libertus" etc.

The Shield had a reallllllllllly good finale (much better than the overall show). Six Feet Under was weak until the last 6 minutes and that Sia song when it transcended into something utterly amazing. The Wire was good, but everything in the Wire as well. I'd rank them Angel, Spartacus, then The Shield, but just

Agreed. That was the first episode I felt like "Holy shit, there is something really amazing going on here." Everything after The Thing in the Pit has been gold plated awesomesauce. DeKnight said it himself in the EW interview that that was when it all came together backstage as well. An underrated classic in the

Also, Spartacus grabbing the blade of the oncoming sword and thereby robbing Crassus of his badass hands-on-blades move was the most awesome thing I've seen on TV in a long, long time.

That was a beautiful finale. Nice twists, some wicked fights, and dirty, ugly deaths. Stuck all the landings they needed to. Well done to DeKnight and the entire team. This one will stand the test of time.

The first song was damn catchy. Am I the only one who thought that was Dan Harmon stumbling out of the woods??

Terrible episode, especially the writing. On the plus side the show really seems to be embracing the "these are all horrible human beings and you should never root for them" aspect of things.

I've wondered that myself. Hot, absurdly funny, great range (she's British). CAST HER YOU FOOLS

I'm withholding judgement until I actually see some resolution. But it is a good sign.

Odd episode. Started off very weak, got better and better as it went on. Needed more Nadia one liners ("If you run I catch it" gets funnier and funnier the longer you think about it) but all the emotional beats landed even if the jokes didn't always (Chicago is still the standout worst episode of the season).

That was quite refreshing.

Yup, every aspect of that joke landed, unlike the rest of the episode.

They're almost holding her back too much though. Her table dinner with Schmit last year was the hardest I've laughed at any TV show ever.

Uh, duh. I never said anything about the marriage or Lord Frey. That was all later. None of it would have even happened if he hadn't slept with Jeyne in the first place. The book and the show presented that in very different circumstances. One has the fall of a Great House and potential great king occurying in part
