I'm talking about his decision to bang Jenye in the first place. In the book he just injured, had just found out his brothers were dead at the hands of his former bff, and had a nubile girl "tending" to his grief. That makes his tragic decision to ignore honor and sleep with her (and everything that follows) make much

I'm fine with most changes - but I'm still annoyed they didn't tie Robb's knocking books with Jeyne/whoever to the news of his brothers death in the TV show. That makes him look Ned levels of stupid there, instead of an emotionally distraught teenage boy.

Being horrifically tortured, clearly. Which even GRRM didn't think we needed to see.

I think Crassus and Caesar sort of have to lie. I mean they've seen Spartacus. They would know if we was dead or not. The only way we have an "unidentified body" is if they want to rob Pompey of glory.

That's a pretty brilliant and astute observation and writing choice if true. I can't recall him ever swearing.

This was an interesting episode. It basically amounted to the show honoring it's history of gladiator battles in the arena, just as the characters honored Crixus.

I agree. This was the first time ever on the show the "Why Don't they?" Just felt forced. I mean they've built it up and built it up… tension needs to be released at this point, or put completely on the back burner for other plots.

"Isn't releasing the bear in the restaurant enough??"

This episode was sweet. But not that funny.

I actually thought this was one of the better episodes of the season… although it's been a pretty weak season. The Vietnamese table scene killed me.

I agree with most of the comments above - for a show that's been on a strong streak lately this was definitely a deep pop out to center field. I admire what they were trying to do but it just didn't work.

No, he's with Sparty

Ok I haven't seen the episode but I'm pretty sure nothing described in it could have really happened.

Agreed. Ashur's death is the only thing that's ever pissed me off about the series. Major mistake. Especially since they want this years Romans to be competent and root-worthy.

"I didn't know you were embedded in shit east of the Rhine" was my favorite.

Wow, awesome ending. This show is really not afraid to go to crazy ass places. That Roman v. Roman battle made most of our "heroes' less so. Gannicus is pretty much the only guy I'm rooting for at this point. I hope he nabs that sweet, young slave girl and gets the F out of dodge. He can buddy up with Caesar in the

"1601 Reasonable Discussions"… about a half hour sitcom on its last legs. Wtf is wrong with you assholes?

I'll admit it - I've never been a big Office fan (I was living in Japan during it's glory years and returned to find over warmed mediocrity).

Agreed.
