Oh god no. Season 1 until midway was pretty much ass. Jess & Jess is one of the first good episodes, so I'd catch that then jump to "Injured" and shotgun the rest of the season.

The throat can just shut the whole thing down.

It doesn't always work, but when it does it REALLY works.
I really hope you flailed about.
I would love for Season 3 to be the season of Winston just like 1 - Schmidt and 2- Nick.
Nick Miller's Kiss: Dropping the mike and walking off the stage.
Go Winston!
Joe Biden!
My fave comment back when this originally aired was "So Clarkson got the diagnosis right for once… and the patient STILL DIED." Typical.
Man, Ashur is still the only death I'm remotely bummed about. It would have been more in character for that cockroach to survive somehow and frack everyone else somemore this year.
They sorta have to narratively.
Nasir. And yea, Mira was surprisingly awesomesauce right before she died. Figures.
That's sort of an awesome story.
Good point. This show has literally killed off more interesting characters than 99% of other shows out there ever create.
Best scene in the episode though was the Spartacus and Gannicus conversation - as pointed out in the review. That's what I love about this show. Most people will just see the blood spatters and boobs and sniff their nose, but this show absolutely nails its quiet characters beats and quiet moments. THATS what puts such…
Crassius stole the episode (and possibly my alligence). What a badass. I'm glad they have a tactical very smart guy taking out Spartacus… that is how they conquered half the known world in the first place. Though now I fear Caesar is going to be an asshat.
I just want to go on the record and say I really enjoyed this show.
The entire first series slogs along for episodes 1-3. "The Thing in the
Pit" starts to show some life, and by the final six episodes you'll be
hooked. Massively entertaining, and not just because of the ridiculous gore and sex.
