I was kind of wishing they didn't have Gus say that… It's a little too perfect. I would have preferred if he had started to say it, and then stopped himself and looked at Malvo, realizing what he had said in the car earlier,

Yeah, plus having this elaborate network is really unrealistic and super villainy. Malvo operates pretty simply, relying on sheer boldness and a lack of respect for the law rather than any kind of intricate criminal network. I prefer the simple explanation of him using another guy's name.

I guess you guys only use Tec 9s and Mac 10s down there right?

Couldn't he just say he was firing a shotgun? But I don't think it was a casing, it was part of the buckshot.

I hope they aren't supposed to be brothers because uh… they don't look brothers.

Yeah that was annoying. If anything he's MORE connected to her frozen guy case than Lester… She has him on camera dragging the victim to his car by his foot. I guess it's realistic though. Molly is a good cop but she's not exactly a tactical genius, nor is she very shrewd, cunning, or wise to the various ways people

Nah dude, the flashback was in 1987. The movie took place in 1987. It's still winter as well, which means he probably found that money very shortly after Carl left it there. Maybe even a matter of days or even hours.

AH that makes sense. Of course. I was wondering what was going on there…

You expect Bemidji police to notice ANYTHING? Apart from Molly they appear to be the most useless police department ever depicted on film.

At this point it really just seems like he's one of the biggest idiots on the planet but who knows how it will play out.

The film takes place in the winter of 1987, and the establishing shot tonight said the flashback was 1987, so Stavros found the money very shortly after Carl stashed it, not years later or something. The window scrapper to mark the spot was even still standing there. We can assume it was there for days at the most, if

Oh.. well the quote is: Jon: "I count ten dead mutineers" Other Dude: Locke said there were eleven of them".

Huh? When did they comment that? They comment on how there is only eleven and they are missing one… Who we see running away and then getting eaten by Ghost. I don't see how Locke could have sent more men up there to bolster the mutineers defenses… That doesn't make any sense.

I don't mind her, but from the get go I thought the casting was kind of poor. She just doesn't look regal enough in some way. I would compare her to Cleopatra who had very striking features in a way that makes her seem more queen-like somehow. Emilia Clarke kind of just looks like a popular blonde cheerleader type,

I know Kumail's shtick too well to think he's being 100% sincere, but come on… The song is not about romanticizing grief or sadness. It's not "emo". In fact, if you wanna criticize, it's a pretty corny "Life is going to get better, pick your head up" positivity song. Anyway I still think it's a great song, but this

Hey now, let's not start rumours.

I find it really disgusting that his killing the dog is what makes people dislike him. This is a guy that murdered the young father to be police chief in cold blood and has been cruelly and sadistically manipulating people the entire show and now just because he killed a dog, that makes you realize he's a bad guy??

Lester is not an anti-hero. There is no reason we have to search through the show to find something close to an anti-hero. Either the show is about an anti-hero or it's not. This show is not. Lester is just a witless sap, like Jerry.

I'M SO LONERY!!!

There is no anti-hero… there's nothing even close to one. Just because we have gotten used to male anti-heroes in our TV dramas doesn't mean every story has one.
