That comparison of people watching the hurricane circle on the news to the people actually in the "sphere" of it is pretty incredible dude!

Actually Rust directly says that. At the beginning of the spiel he says "Someone once told me 'Time is a flat circle' ", which is what Ledoux said. He is directly quoting Ledoux.
And anyways, I think they were more interested in actually getting information out of him rather than a confession. It was an exploratory interview, and also had the goal of trying to get him to let them search his storage unit.
Wait, did you just use Andrew Lincoln as an example of good acting in Walking Dead?
I don't quite get that joke. Why would Nick Cave not like it? I don't know a ton about the guy but his songs seem to have a lot of the same tone as this show.
I don't think he was doing that in a menacing way for his own gain, or that it would lead to anything. I think it was more of a "teaching moment" in line with Rust's philosophical nature. He wanted her to understand that element of society, the power that police have, as a warning.
Yeah, the cooking meth thing was only mentioned between Ledoux and Iron Crusaders… The rich guys in the woods stuff was just Charlie Lange trying to give them bigger fish to save his ass. He has some connection with them, but it wasn't selling meth or anything.
Couldn't a "lawn mower" be a person? Lawn mower….one who mows the lawn.
I'd loved that line. It was exactly what Marty would say to Rust (if he knew who Nietzche was). At that moment Ledoux was to Rust as Rust is to Marty, and in looks like in the future they've all moved further towards Ledoux.
I think they are much more likely to be doing these killings as part of a twisted vision of "God's will" than any kind of Satanist thing. That's a much more common phenomenon. Those stick ornament things, remember, aren't actually some kind of Satanic symbol, they are a religious symbol called "Devil Catchers"… So…
I like the idea that the grandpa molesting her is what turned her into exactly what his crusty old ass was moaning about. "The goth kids today". It's poetic that the older generation, while whining about the "youth of today" are actually responsible for their misery through the "behind closed doors" deviancy of their…
I fucking hate the Walking Dead, but I somehow never noticed that…There is literally zero humour in that piece of shit show. It's pathetic because they are trying to take themselves SO seriously, but it just doesn't work…Just endless super serious emotional discussions about the reality of life now blah blah blah.…
I don't agree with the whole "falling out with Marty is staged" bit, but we already have evidence that Rust isn't being honest with his "I work 4 days a week and in between I drink" burnt out boozer thing, as he was photographed at that crime scene. It's not like he just popped his head out of the bar and saw that…
Highly agree… It's a terrible introduction to the show because Blackadder is basically played as a completely different character. Watch it after if you want, but I genuinely think alot will be put off if they watch series 1 first.
Yep…watching this show and then watching the Walking Dead on Sunday nights is exactly what it was like to watch Breaking Bad and then Dexter during their final seasons.
The Walking Dead is and has always been a low quality show. Simple at that. Everything about it, from the acting, to the writing, to the direction is mediocre and doesn't compare to any of the major serialized dramas like those on HBO.
I can barely get over how boring and stale this show is. It fucking SUCKS.
Honestly I think that would be really stupid…Marty does not fit the profile whatsoever, I really wouldn't buy that. I better not be Rust either, but like others say I doubt it is. They are obviously alluding to it being some big cult like group with members in positions of power.
That was so subtle and amazing. I didn't even notice it on the first watch.
I don't really see how. Darryl might be top dog in his family, and an alpha male, but he hasn't shown hardly a shred of intelligence or real aptitude for leadership yet. He still can't see how toxic Danny is and barely seems questioning about Baptiste's disappearance. I think his natural role is to be employed by…
