I also have to say I took a similar mean spirited pleasure in seeing her naive act of altruism back fire when it turns out the girl was a total lazy, selfish asshole. I think people romanticize the homeless and think of them as these pure of heart salt of the earth souls when really they are just people and plenty of

This whole season has been boring. The plot is thin and uninteresting and the majority of the episodes consist of super serious conversations about people's feelings that have zero ramifications for the plot. They could have made that whole body burning thing interesting, as Rick searches for the killer. Instead he

What? How does that make sense?

Good point about Hershel being a doctor and thus valuable. His "fuck it I'm an old man, it's my choice if I want to risk death to give these people some soothing chamomile tea" thing doesn't really work if you throw that in his face.

Cue people who think Manson is intelligent because of that one time he said Columbine happened because nobody took the time to listen to what those two boys had to say. Yeah, too bad nobody listened to the narcissistic sociopath and his violent depressive follower. All they needed was a nice hug I'm sure.

The fight with Rick felt really out of place and out of character. Yes, I get he just experienced a traumatic event but nevertheless, still out of character. I didn't buy that all of a sudden he's this angry, irrational rage monster when he's always been so cool and calm before. You could really see the writer's

Yeah… just because the flesh is rotten doesn't mean the bones turn to jelly.

Carrie risks a massive operation and does this complicated yoga play just so she can say to an FBI guy, hey go look for Dana Brodie, and he's like "Yeah obviously we already are, we're the FBI". STUPID.

Seriously that was one of the best parts of this show.

Yeah, good points. I don't think Boardwalk Empire is less about anything than Deadwood or the Wire. I think the author just didn't bother looking for an overall theme. Not to say I think Boardwalk Empire is the equal to Deadwood or the Wire though, but it does have an overall theme.

Hey, I think there might be a Two and a Half Men rerun you're missing..

Yeah, where the hell did that come from? It made no sense, and wasn't funny.

I was pretty excited because I find the goth kids hilarious but that just sucked… Next week it's Ike going through puberty. We'll see how that goes.

Daniel is a great character but I don't think he is either highly intelligent or has any artistic talents. I think that's what is great about his character. In high school he is this magnetic, cool rebel but when he enters the adult world and that appeal wears off, he's just going to be a loser, as sad as that is. I

Yeah, I did think of that, but I think the High School Reunion plot device is most appropriate as the show was mostly based around high school. Didn't know that about some high school reunions though! I never thought about going to mine because most of my friends were in different grades.

Actually Jax did kill Dutch when he wouldn't shut up.

Yeah the Deadhead girl is ridiculously cute but oh so creepy. You can just tell she is prime cult member material.

A high school reunion movie would be awesome… My only worry is that Bill, Neil, Sam, Gordon, Harris etc. are all younger so it makes no sense they would be at the same high school reunion as Lindsey et. al but I'm sure they could figure out a way to work that out.

Yeah. He's getting close to them by pretending to be a crooked agent so he can take them down. Although he is also kind of a crooked agent in reality too since he had that other agent set up to be killed a couple episodes ago.

Can I just mention how over the top and ridiculous the scene of Nero in jail was? Yes, rape and sex happens in prison but its relatively rare. They make it seem like everyone is just constantly banging 24/7.
