My Grandfather told me that happened to him in WW2 in Sicily. He said it was the most terrifying feeling he ever experienced, followed by the most overwhelming feeling of relief he ever felt. That was one of my favorite scenes in the entire series.

I tried reading some of Cerebus I had checked out of the library, but couldn't get into it. Maybe it's because I started on the second volume, or maybe my opinion is altered by what a flake Sim turned into.
This is just chapter 1 in the history of computers taking over the world.
I hope you didn't just throw them out. I recently had to do the same thing, but donated most of my graphic novels to a local library. It pained me to do it, but they were pretty much collecting dust in the attic anyway.
That sounds like an awesome book. I get called an agorophobe an awful lot, but I like to think it's because I don't generally find a lot of people terribly interesting.

I don't think the film is ever going to be made, but there is talk of making it a series on Netflix. I just finished the re-release of Nightworld and have not been as disappointed in the end of a series since the last Dark Tower book.
I heard that they were considering Reynolds to play Repairman Jack in the movie based on The Tomb by F. Paul Wilson. Couldn't think of a worse actor to play Jack, but then I heard it was going to be Mark Walhberg.
There are only two rules for having a good time. Rule one: Never run out of Colt 45. Rule two: Never forget rule number one.
