I'm sure WWE having women main event all three of their shows this past week was pure coincidence. (Though they, and none of their wrestlers, have actually mentioned GLOW directly as far as I can tell. Maybe Alison Brie turned down the offer of a match at Summerslam.)

As far as I've seen Latoya may be the only person reviewing GLOW for a non-wrestling site* who actually watches wrestling, which adds plenty to understanding the concept. The Iconic Duo reference in the last review was a clincher of sorts.

JR managing to call Sabre 'Ospreay' more than once doesn't fill me with a lot of hope for whatever's in his WWE future. No wonder he ducked out of calling the Hurrah! Another Year, Surely This One Will Be Better Than The Last, The Inexorable March of Progress Will Lead Us All To Happiness.

And with Cody presumably not splitting from Bullet Club any time soon his realistic title options after the Daniels rematch (assuming Omega doesn't just ride roughshod as well) are Lethal, who's just had a year long reign and is currently stuck with Silas Young, and…? Dalton Castle clearly has a ceiling, the Briscoes

But after the match he was leading the DELETE chants. It's kind of a tough position, not just because of the legal activity but the people who'd know about the Brokenverse are in a clear minority among Raw viewers, that Impact drew 410k viewers and it didn't reach half a million on YouTube.

And Matt would have been so good on the Edge & Christian Show too.

Roman's a face, so no. I don't know which heel they'd swap though, presumably not Owens as he has a title and Joe's only just arrived, and if Nakamura debuts tomorrow that's the lead face that can fill in while Cena's off.

You know what was glaring about that opening segment? Reigns played his part perfectly and it looks like WWE learned to steer into the skid in a working-the-smarks sense, especially as they've been doing that a lot recently (not just the last three weeks but getting Orton cheered at the Rumble)… and then the

Imaginary money says Charlotte and Alexa are swapping over next week. Who's the face in Charlotte-Nia?

There are never stakes beyond starting to set up the next PPV at the post-Mania Raw. It's about shifting characterizations slightly, introducing newcomers and playing to the crowd.

So that whole segment wasn't about playing into Roman's go away heat? Are you sure your blanket dismissal of Reigns means you haven't noticed you're not still being worked?

AJ just defeated the Smackdown GM at Wrestlemania. That's not really grounds to keep him on your books.

Smackdown is even more about promos than Raw is, it certainly has the lesser proportion of match time and the regular talking show afterwards.

Apart from that I didn't really go in with high expectations I've been trying to work out why I was deflated about how things went, and I think it's that there were no crowd pleasing moments - heels won every match they could afford to win (because Black wasn't losing), there were no great sendoff moments and it's not

NXT turned him face and gave him the push against Sanity *because* he got so popular. He seems one of the very few left who actually has that connection with the home crowd that prime NXT thrived upon (and not just because he wasn't a big signing, Zayn, Owens and Balor had it too)

Maybe it's because of being stripped of its Falklands War instant reaction context, but I'm really not sure I'd call Shipbuilding "sentimental".

I presume this ends in the same way the best DDT stories do, ie Kota Ibushi shows up and launches fireworks at everyone.

Because Randy is being cheered.

Goldberg is the one reliable TV and YouTube ratings spike they currently have. And he was cheered last week. I'm fascinated by the hoops people are jumping through to claim he isn't over.

Why would Shane want to get his own back on the guy who just assaulted him by making someone else who has no kayfabe issue with Styles and who 90%+ of the audience have never heard of two Smackdowns out from Mania do the work? Hasn't "WWE/NXT aren't putting in the storytelling work in favor of slinging together dream
