Barsanti probably read the interview and the first thought was "Mark Ruffalo ISN'T really the Hulk?! WHAT A PHONY! HEY EVERYBODY LOOK AT THE PHONY!"
I'd have to respectfully disagree; Lorne was so weird and off-putting that while the menace is absolutely palpable with him, you could also see him coming a mile away. Mike's sense of acting like a rational, agreeable person couched in a threat is what makes him so dangerous. Hannibal Lector called his public persona…
It probably involves a boombox and a map to Amy Schumer's apartment building.
DAILY FANTASY IS STILL REAL TO ME DAMMIT
Maybe someone can spare him some Loose Change.
FTWD RIPOFFS/HOMAGES, Week ah fuck it:
Yeah, it was just…an ending…or something. Which is fine, considering how much pyrotechnics went into the bulk of the season; in a way, it kind of needed an almost elegiac end to the kind of season that it had. Agreed about Season 3- it was light years ahead of that, at least.
Eh, I liked how last season ended; the bad guys essentially got away with it (as opposed to a "24"-style closing the loop), and it was a definite improvement over Season 3.
I've never been so turned on in my life.
I got into my first AVC Flame War over that Hatesong- I remember it so well. I had the unenviable task of fucking defending Macklemore (something I had not planned on doing that day, or any day) for extolling the virtues of Goodwill (in his own way, or something), only for some dipshit with a reading comprehension…
Defintely the latter- he was (and is) just the worst.
Tracy Jordan: "So doc, who's crazier: Me, or Ann Curry?"
FTWD Ripoff/Homages, Week 5:
It worked for Jesse, so…yes.
No, you're right; LOTD was pretty good, and SOTD had its moments, but Romero was somehow trying to make a point about how people shouldn't be reporting on the news and to leave it to the professionals, or something (he said a lot of things that were kind of conflicting).
EDGY
ok first of all how dare you
Oh, I know- but it's such a trope that it would've been refreshing to see soldiers who cared (except Shawn Hatosy, who obviously cares too much), and a non-evil government doctor (DEATH PANELS!!!1!! SEE I TOLD YOU SO!!!11!!1)
