Happy birthday, RoRo!
Congrats! Now, may I get fries with my order?
It's more of "A dad way out of his depth, but doing the best that he can" than anything. It wasn't abusive.
Seriously. It's a much different scene now, and while I - like Caroline- am painfully disappointed that a Netflix show didn't cure society's ills, it's still worth watching.
In addition to all that, I'm hoping that it will open the door to a Punisher reboot too- hopefully Netflix isn't too skittish on it; the dichotomy between the two putative heroes' motivations for justice always made for some great team-ups/showdowns.
I look forward to Handlen's nuanced critique of female-driven shows and their place in society's larger sense of Pop Culture. (on second thought, he could actually pull it off).

There were a few Mr. D locations in Central PA that were pretty great, but given Dunkin Donuts' hegemony, coupled with the ill-starred Krispy…
Oh absolutely. It's like, we're supposed to somehow feel good for that Castor clone that ran away with Dr. Farmer's daughter (even though he killed that diner owner - the one person who was trying to help Sarah- in cold blood at the opening of Season 2), and that deep down, they're just misunderstood (Helena is a…
Since the ep was written by a woman, it's …progress.. I guess..? It just seems to be getting worse and worse in this department.
Congrats on the acceptance- having two letters under your belt is great!
