@avclub-40e90db13ab31c7efd64228034182c2e:disqus : That's the episode, but Marge wasn't trying to kill Otto's wife; she was trying to kill and replace Marge. And the scene where Marge tries to blend in with the marching band to escape the asylum, only to soon discover they're from the asylum and are marching right back…

You have three "Treehouse of Horrors" on that list, and none of them is the one where Kang and Kodos replace Clinton and Dole? That segment is one of the best skewerings of American politics that has ever been done in television.

I like it a lot, but given the existence of the Promethia series by Alan Moore and J. H. Williams III, your assertion is very much up for discussion.

For all of the modern sensibilities about transsexuality, there's still certain immutable, physical facts about anyone born in a man's body. They'll never have generate eggs, have menstrual periods, or bear children. If the "moon magic" that Thessaly does is subject to certain physical rules, that's just another one…

Because the "Hardly Boys" bit was dumb. But I agree that that episode overall wasn't so bad. The worst episode of South Park has to have been "A Million Little Fibers."

Yeah, I was wondering about that too, since it has to be Kyle (dressed as Thor) that he's referring to. Movie Thor has no secret identity. Comic book Thor has been Don Blake and Sigurd Jarlson. Maybe he took "Curt" from the Lizard, who's the villain in the most recent Spider-Man movie? (Yes, I know it's not part of…

Aw, no mention of the cops using lines from "Monster Mash" in the hospital scene? I thought that was a great touch.

Rented Lost in Translation to watch with my in-laws in attendance. Bad enough it bored us to tears, but there's this one scene where Bill Murray and Scarlett Johanssen meet up in a strip club, and the background music is blaring "Do you wanna suck my titties, suck my titties". I could have fallen through the floor.
