Ah nuts I wanted to hear about her Curb Your Enthusiasm episode.

They reiterate why she was in again in the finale and yes, it was bullshit, particularly when juxtaposed with what Bayley gets away with in his flashbacks, which I'm pretty sure is part of the point.

Roseanne actually did a similar thing with the episode where Muriel Hemingway kissed her and she got defensive about how freaked out she was by it.

And to think it only gets worse.

As we'll learn in the next season, the science/tech combo isn't the only reason Coldstone is conflicted re: Goliath.

To say nothing of City of Stone.

I always remember the sight of her wings opening behind the angel gravestone Hudson crouches under in the cemetery being particularly frightening.

SPOILER…

Jackal and Hyena were always the most fun to watch for me. Wolf was probably the most one note.

The voice casting for each member of The Pack went along way towards wanting to see that development too.

“I always survive”

Though if we really want to talk arbitrary plot holes, I'd sure like to know how Demona's bazooka launcher reloaded itself on cue.

I think he was hoping to have the Gargoyles at his service in addition to the robots, using Demona to keep Goliath in line.

I wouldn't say Demona and Xanatos ever exactly trusted each other. They were just more valuable to each other alive than dead so long as their goals didn't run counter to each other.

That one and the episode in Paris were probably the best of the Avalon bunch.

If memory serves, this element was actually a bit of serendipity based on the voice casting. They decided to incorporate Salli Richardson's actual Native American/Nigerian heritage into the character. A great decision.

Owen for President.

No that was from the non weisman season. I'm talking about the one where he and a wounded Goliath are on the run and they have to stall their attacker till sunrise. Being deliberately vague to withhold spoilers.

Here here. This show deserved major props for how strong and diverse all of its female characters were compared to a lot of others at the time.

I remember his spotlight episode towards the end of the first season being a particular highlight for me.
