As if Olivia is going to let Fitz be impeached because of Mellie who has her own dirty laundry. OPA will either release info on Mellie's affair with Andrew, forgery of Fitz signature when he was shot, paying off Jeanine to say she had an affair with Fitz, etc. Or OPA has plenty of dirt on members of Congress to get

This reviewer is THE WORST. She did not touch on any of the important ideas mentioned on the show but keeps harping on the superficial.

No you missed the point of this episode.

Some folks cannot read nuances. Actually Fitz played Mellie like a fiddle and then he let Cyrus humiliate himself begging to return to the White House. All the while Olivia sat there like a Queen who everyone (Lizzie, Abby, Cyrus and Fitz.) was looking to for approval. Fitz respects Olivia's opinion as a strategist

The episode was not boring because of the Olivia and Fitz relationship drama. It was boring because there was too much damn 'dreamy' Jake. He has no charisma on screen and drains the energy from the show. The most boring episodes are when they focus on Jake.

I think you are confusing Fitz with boring, bland "save me" Jake. Every episode with less Jake gets is better and the reviews confirm it.

"As the saying goes, we're unabashedly Team Mellie. She's devious in her
political maneuverings but she owns her grime and doesn't try and act
like she doesn't know what it takes to get where she (and Fitz) are today"

Those were some damn good scenes with Olivia and Fitz in and out of bed with the level of intimacy shown.

As usual Mellie was an silly clingy idiot. Why is she celebrated? The woman got an unearned Senate seat and she is still clinging to a man who does not want her so she can be First Lady. She needs to pull up her big girl panties and start being an independent woman instead of a Stepford wife.
