I saw the pilot at an Adult Swim drive-in and it was actually pretty cool. Looks like they used some of the lines from the first one (i.e. signing a deal for a million dollars). And yeah, it seems like they're somewhat in on the joke now, which could be good or bad. But glad to know a movie is finally being made from the indie perspective.
