Brighter than a Thousand Suns is waaay underrated. There I said it.

Angry Internet Guy is right on the money. That is exactly how I read that ending except with China instead of NK. Check out IMDB for some long essays on this topic.

I may need to read this. Anything to get Ben Affleck out of my mind.

I notice the writer makes liberal use of the "goth" label. If memory serves, Smith himself hated that description and denies ever having had anything to do with it.

"1991’s sleek makeover Achtung Baby earned the group critical and commercial acclaim, while 1997’s electro-fried Pop polarized fans and critics alike. But 1993’s Zooropa was somewhere in the middle"

This is going to sound terrible but I was really relieved to learn it's not the other Paul Williams. Yes, I feel really bad about that.

I was wondering if Truth was going to be mentioned. I LOVE that track.

Wildcats… pshw….. I'm gonna go.

Thanks for the advices. For the record (get it?), the CD and album were purchased at very nearly the same time. In any case it was definitely before any retrospective re-released or remastered CD. I listened to my vinyl Dark Side of the Moon more than 1000 times and say that the CD is just as good so I agree with you… mostly. However I know this isn't always true. My proof that vinyl and digital are not the same: Siouxsie and the Banshees' Tinderbox. I wish someone out there could corroborate this with me. They

THANK YOU. All my life I have waited for a context to make that point without sounding like a crazy person.

ALL ABOARD FOR FUNTIME!!! FUN!

Not sure what to think of the Pope story. Paulie clearly says in the film that he "ain't no tough guy." Did Roberts (who I am huge fan of btw) get a chance to change that line and just forgot? Had Paulie been scripted as a tough guy and Roberts read it as written then why would he say that?

My standard answer is Lincoln, Nebraska. Guess where I got that from!

Paul Stanley's solo in World Without is actually pretty good. Wait, why wasn't Ace on lead? No wonder he left right after this.

ACL 2007: Fantastic show! You really missed out.

Saw her at ACL some years back. Excellent, moving performance. And thankfully little from Medulla and Volta in that set.

Has anyone mentioned the odd placement of a great Rolly song in the otherwise grim Suicide Club. Now *that* is a classic WTF? moment.
