ah. i have a habit of exiting the podcast before shitheads. thanks for the heads up

was that jon hamm on the recent episode of doug loves movies?

the mixed connection cliche of "i'm going to tell her/him how i really feel but oh! i've just walked in on her/him kissing someone else" really made me cringe.

i concede to your clearly superior wisdom on this matter

yeah, the A- is a bit baffling. i actually think these last two episodes might be the weakest they've done in a while. and that new dj guy might be the worst thing to happen to america

i enjoyed that sequence as well. it actually really reminded me of the introduction of desmond hume in lost. https://www.youtube.com/wat…
morning montage, peppy music, portentous ending

the first thing i thought of when i saw the train station base was the ninja turtles' lair in teenage mutant ninja turtles II: the secret of the ooze

i remember watching that episode and hearing that joke and the comic book nerd in me was annoyed because there actually is a superhero named x-man, who happens to be an alternate reality version of one of the x-men. c'mon community writers!

after the crossroads of destiny i didn't think his redemption would end be so complete. i figured he would do something noble by the end but everyone would still think he was an asshole.
