I was half expecting a "Dexter" type ending where Rick and the fighters went to Woodbury, but when they got back to the prison they found the governor had doubled back and killed a few people, including maybe the baby.

"for having it happen in a way that doesn’t make her or the Governor look like an idiot."
Probably, but the only way to achieve that kind of sleep deprivation is through abnormal means, such as drugs or a disease. If you just tried to stay awake without chemical assistance, your body will fight you and push you to sleep. And any severe injury is more likely to keep you unconscious than awake.
That Kira/Bashir exchange … is this the one where Kira has the over-the-top meta line where she tells Bashir "you put there!"
Yeah, I'd imagine that a Changeling that needs to revert to liquid form would at some point just revert to liquid. It's only when they are actively prevented from morphing (like with Garak's EM device) that it becomes a problem. Like when we try to stay awake too long, eventually our bodies will simply go to sleep…
Apparently the unique combination of would, magic, and vaguely human biological traits can be critically wounded by electricity … but not as quickly as a regular person
What if Tamara were a slayer?
I was worried that everyone's connections would be too coincidental for the real world, but the episode assuaged a bit of that.
SPOILERS
If I recall, when Sisko and Bashir are waiting on the Changeling planet, Bashir is so bored he picks up a rock to throw into the ocean, like bored people are prone to do, and Sisko has to remind him that those are people he'd be throwing rocks at. Great little moment.
I think they are implying that the Groundhog Day effect resets their supplies everyday. After all, I don't they are going to get a shipment of the next year's car models every November, or a shipment of the latest cell phones so everyone can replace what they have. I think it's a bubble meant to replicate the ideal…
This episode makes me wonder exactly who was being cursed in Storybrooke. By taking away everyone's memory, she effectively removes any pain they would have about being taken from their home. But Regina effectively trapped herself in a Groundhog Day lite scenario. And we saw that she got bored with it after a day. As…
They found it because they were already camping out in the middle of the town's border, so the town formed around them (the town including a fair amount of forest).
Yes, but for some in the west our intervention is based on our ideals.
I was thinking the same thing. Islam is a religion, not a race or ethnicity. The context here is stereotyping religious or philosophical beliefs, not racism.
Yes, it's insane and silly, but I find that the better shows that flirt with magical premises (Buffy) can make it work.
Maybe the circumstances of bringing Henry in made it visible to the outside world?
"Why is no one dressed like its 1983? Good thing the Dark Curse knew to
fill everyone’s closet with fashions that would be hip for 30 years."
I think it wasn't the walkie-talkie aspect to it so much as it was that she can control him with it, unless that's what you meant
As long as she and Troi aren't flying together, it should be OK.
