I agree his termination was justified. And yes, it was justified because of the lying, not because he got the story wrong.

Actually, I've always thought the book Jason was a bit of an asshole. I'm thinking of the first book when Sookie was upset over the molester uncle who happened to be Jason's favorite, and he was a total dick to her. He's gotten better over the course of the story, but I don't know if I would describe hm as sweet.

That was my take on it. As if he just wants to be respected by it father he's on a path that has spiraled out of his control.
I would love for Azmarie to win, but she's too confident, secure and focused to win. I say somewhere around week 6 the judges will start commenting on how they "don't really know who Azmarie is."
