I actually saw this movie, and kind of loved it.  It wasn't trying to get a big message across.  It wasn't a feel good quirky comedy.  It's actually pretty dark.  Which was really nice.  Sure, it's not a Great Film, but it's a really fun Movie.

Pet Semetary 2 is terribly awesome. Wasn't that the one that had the kid almost get his face smashed into the motorcycle wheel, or something? I need to rewatch it. I haven't seen it since it came out, but I loved it.

Last week was terrible. I had on my card, WTF?! Creativity is one thing, but that looked like a first grader's costume as a diamond card in Alice in Wonderland.

They should have made another skort.

I dunno, you guys.  I really liked this week's episode.  Sure, the Glade 2-in-1 candle thingy was shoehorned in without any grace.  But, overall, a solid episode.

Agreed with the advice to Heisler.  I have a region free Blu-Ray/DVD player, that plays all regions of both blu and DVD.  Worth every penny.  Was watching Grindhouse as Grindhouse on Japanese 3-disc dvd before the blu came out.  There's a lot of cool stuff from Asia that makes it worth getting.

Also, its not even season 1.  It's Volume 1, which is merely 7 episodes of the second season.  Still, better than nothing!

The British mini-series of The Lives and Loves of the She-Devil.  I haven't been able to find that thing and I've tried on several occasions.

Contact, I think, is very much maligned.

Oooo…@unicyclistperiscopes:disqus that is going into my can't fucking find pop culture post.  I occasionally try to find it to watch on a format I have, and haven't had any luck.

And then chopped 40 minutes out of the rest of the movie.

It was Daniel's dress that REALLY made me bug.  Seriously, it was like the dress had swollen lymph nodes and was about to die.  Or, it was like the radiator girl from Eraserhead, reimagined as a dress with flowers.  It was really arts and crafty.

You Can't Do That On Television is one of my favorite shows as a kid.

I forgot about needing to see that movie.

It was OK as an origin story. But it could have been chopped by 30 minutes, and followed up with a sequel to make it better.

This is one of my favorite catty bitch fight movies. Meryl Streep vs Goldy Hawn with a side of Isabella Rossellini? And a perfectly played straight man of Bruce Willis? Oh yes please. And when it was aired on USA all the time, stop to watch.

I can see right THROUGH YOU.

I heard some really awful things about The Secret Lives of Dentists when it came out.  Trixie, and Breakfast of Champions were also notorious bombs.  But, I hadn't heard of any before those, including Mortal Thoughts.

@avclub-9a4171ef8b4442c43967206e73227d7a:disqus Oh shit, you're right.  I forgot about that.  They went with Saul Rubinek for the Asst DA. Which was only somewhat of sense.  It's all some kind of really terrible fever dream of shittiness that I still think I kind of hallucinated.
