And sometimes he does Reindeer Games…

I'm more than amused that Claire's takedown of Natural Born Killers reads like the inverse of exactly why I love the movie.  It just further goes to show you that its still a divisive movie where the exact reasons some love it are the exact reasons others hate it.

If you guys say NBK is among the worst of the '90s (JFK, in my mind, is overrated), then you're far too twee for my tastes.  NBK, in terms of style, deserves some recognition as a relentless movie that screams at you.  It was totally in the zeitgeist of the 90s pop culture, and, in a way, ushered in the political

I'm amazed by the "everybody thinks "Silence of the Lambs" is good, so therefore it must not be great" crowd.

Pom Poko is way better than Porco Rosso.  Mononoke is a great movie of beauty and scope.  Porco Rosso is an OK movie.  I almost forgot about it.

It gave irreverance and pulp culture as a siren song to disaffected youth.  Clerks displayed the futile neutered status of the underachiever.

There are a lot of omissions on here.
