You know, when I was like 8, that big dead tree followed by the getting sucked into the closet scared the living shit out of me.  The rest of the movie was a lot less intense than that one scene, but I thought it would keep getting worse and worse.  Little did I know the rest of the movie mellowed out.

Man, I was hoping for Danny DeVito as a child killer.  I'd watch the hell out of that season.
