Sci-Fi Film Fest had Star Trek II in a burnt-to-a-crisp 70mm format and a gorgeous print of the Euro cut of Brazil.

I really am digging Hardwired by Walter Jon Williams. '80s cyberpunk story where the really rich corporations left Earth to orbit around, and then launched a war with the poor people leaving behind scorched Earth while they control both the legitimate and the black market supplies of their products, namely drugs and…
Oh, so it ended like every other Stephen King over-long opus…basically he just got tired of writing (or the deadline approached), and decided to wrap it up in the quickest way he could find, even if it wasn't dramatically satisfying. See: The Tommyknockers, as well as Needful Things, The Dead Zone, Insomnia, and I…
@thecolonelmc:disqus Unless he's directing it, which he's not, the movie is going to be dull and dead in the water. Note my earlier comment regarding the two Americanizations of The Grudge.
As if The Evil Dead wasn't contrived, or predictable.
Conspiracy Theory: The producers knew that Mark was doing awful, and that Team Kentucky was probably going to lose anyways. So, they told BB Rachel to throw a nonsensical hissy fit about her extensions in order to force Team BB to compete and to prevent Team Kentucky from having to do such physical labor in acts of…
@avclub-a7b0f34d08549b4f4a822219766a8668:disqus I dunno, they show hints at their manipulation all the time. Take last week's "Let's take what's been given to us" comment by Bopper.
There better be MAN ASS GALORE in Season 2 of AHS.
I was hoping the show would make them do something illegal, and then the whole cast gets arrested.
When Team Border Patrol is making fun of you for senselessly, constantly, berating your wife - even when there is nobody else around to get in on the fun - in order to pass the time, you might have a problem.
Anxious re: Comment Reboot. Already old.
Not as producer. He also produced the American versions of The Grudge.
You know, when I was like 8, that big dead tree followed by the getting sucked into the closet scared the living shit out of me. The rest of the movie was a lot less intense than that one scene, but I thought it would keep getting worse and worse. Little did I know the rest of the movie mellowed out.
Man, I was hoping for Danny DeVito as a child killer. I'd watch the hell out of that season.
"Girl with" series reboot.
Only if they do the original fucked up edition. It was fabulously awful.
Can we reboot Transformers already? Or Thor. Thor's so old it needs a reboot.
@avclub-ef062084a1c4a3584af1d4f8e514ea50:disqus I think they do. I swear that some of the release times are based on arrival times. It may not be directly related but I think it is proportional.
I was 14 when that movie came out, and it was the one that taught me "Just because a certain actor is in a movie, doesn't mean it's good."
@avclub-ef062084a1c4a3584af1d4f8e514ea50:disqus , I think they really want to give Bopper and Mark a chance. It's unfair of the producers, but I imagine they even had a lot of internal hatred for the other teams by this point. Like, "Oh, GOD. Those teams are the most annoying teams we ever had. We can't let them…
