Sean was fantasticly entertaining and his bringing up race issues within the show was fantastic as well. I wish we had seen him come back.
I feel like Jeff Probst is turning into my own personal comic book villain who threatens to single-handedly if not ruin at least greatly diminish what could be a great Survivor season. His one man out-of-control hype machine leading up to the season was already telling us to forget SJDS during its finale depsite the…
I just watched Amazon during the off season, so it's fresh in my mind. I would say that Jenna wasn't a game villain, but she and Heidi were absolutely the mean girls at the popular table; not because it was a strategic move, but because of who they were.
If this combo is available I'd like to choose Max, Shirin, Joe, and Sierra as my picks. Thanks.
I love so much about Penner, but his on-going mission to give Probst crap may be my favorite.
The no collars get whatever their parents send to them.
Jeff said (to Dalton Ross, I believe) that they actually came up with the concept after they already had the cast and were trying to figure out how to divide them into tribes. He is the one who came up with the term "no collars" for the ones who didn't fit blue collar or white collar, and boy is he impressed with…

This.
I'm not going to argue that this season did not have dumb asses, Alec's perpetual glaze-eyed agog stare during tribal council is all we need as evidence of the presence of legendary level dumb assedness. But I would argue that while the terrible this season were truly completely terrible (The Christies, Keith's…
When the cast was announced I was excited that the Twinnies were cast, I loved them on TAR. Still, I was confident they would be very entertaining, but terrible at Survivor. Sometimes it is nice to be wrong.
I can't get the "Rob is the Best Know-It-All" song out of my head. Ever.
That would be fantastic. Thanks!
Thanks for another interesting podcast. If you end up doing another in depth discussion of sexism on Survivor now or in the future and you want a woman's perspective I'd love to throw my hat in the ring to discuss the topic. In my view there are two levels of sexism and gender bias that need to be teased out for any…
Rob C. and his guest were talking about this last week. One of them came up with the idea of the person who was voted out grabbling their partner's bag and leaving their own with the idol in it to avoid the issue of whether you would be allowed to hand over an idol after you have been voted out. The general Survivor…
Adoption is actually pretty expensive as well. I know people who have gone into debt to do it.
It's so cute that you think he would have thought to do that.
“You go to tribal council with the alliance you have, not the alliance you might want or wish to have at a later time”
