I don't think Dynasty is really gone. Okay, let me rephrase that: I pray Dynasty is not really gone.

Just came to say that on the recommendation of some commenters here, I started watching the show, and I LOVE IT.  Finished season 1 tonight and should be caught up by next week's show at this rate.  I can't believe people aren't watching this.

Should I watch this show? I need something to fill the Bunheads void, and this seems to get a lot of acclaim, but I detest Cassie Steele from back when I watched Degrassi and Entourage has made me wary of shows about L.A./Hollywood.

I was thinking the same thing re: Michael.  If not a full exit (since he doesn't have a place to live, so she can't really move in with him or anything), it could give her the opportunity to "go on the road" with him, popping back home occasionally to snark with Michelle and then leave again an episode or two later.

The scenes with Boo and Carl brought back waaaay too many memories.  Not the dancing, but just being that kind of girl with that kind of guy after you, and reacting to it in exactly that way.

The crying was truly wretched.  Completely ruined what could have been a very moving scene.  It made her emotions seem overwrought and fake, so that when she told Fanny later that she had been thinking about Hubbell, it sounded like a lie.

David Krumholtz…I was so in love with him in that episode, although watching it again a couple years after college made me realize how much of an obnoxious freshman know-it-all he was.  Still hot, though.

I think Michelle made a general Game of Thrones reference (which I sort of wrote off as "well, she's just talking about something she's heard of" even though I agree it doesn't seem like she would have watched it ever), and then Truly specifically referenced Ned Stark.  At the time it made sense to me that Truly would

It seemed like an act to me.  I think she's by far the most insecure of the group (even though Boo was set up to be the insecure chubby one).

Best line of the show so far, and that's saying something.  I'm still laughing.
