Completely agree. Although SPY has seems fatigued lately, this week's episode was very funny. Reason enough, perhaps, to get a reviewer listening again.

"Wilkes-Barre: long the underpowered little brother of the Electric City, its dearth of extremely mediocre ex'ed establishments like Brixx and Trax belies a hyphenated glow all its own. My first stop indeed glows: I'm at the New Amber Indian Lounge in the shadow of well-lit Montage Mountain…"

SPY was unremittingly brutal—the only one I can remember turning off after 5 minutes. Why did Dave and Graham want to book Shlomo McPeake so badly (as they claim)? So he can halt any attempt at verbal adroitness? I can only imagine how rough this one got.

Recent eps have been running running gags into the ground, but try a couple older episodes. I'm partial to Microwave Popcorn (12) and Toblerone (26).
I don't *enjoy* the SCG so much as I like hearing debate. SM is a pompous ass, but he's also quite good at asking probing questions. Just don't probe him in return.
Wait, what are Tom and PFT beefing over?
I'd settle for a search tool that returns reasonable results.
By "Guinness of Irish Rock" you mean that they're beloved, historically significant, consumed ubiquitously?
And a hearty Hey Guys to you.
Sharp-eared listeners will note chuckles around the table even as Scott nominally shuts Adomian down. It's not personal, it's comedy—Adomian's got to be expecting it.
