Not to get all goofy with gender stuff, but can you imagine if Hannah was a guy, and Frank was a high school virgin female?  Blows into town, has sex, quasi-ridicules his lack of experience, and leaves. As is, it can be played for laughs. Reversed, and the guy is a total asshole.
