and maybe the UV light was a symbol of just another stab in the dark (no pun) for a cure to fix a problem, metaphorically speaking.

If he could see Turturro now, I think JG would approve

I'm wondering if he simply wanted to get to the guy before the cops did and didn't want to tip his hand.

While I am one of "those people" that actually appreciated S2 of TD, I agree that this show has a striking likeness to the soul of True Detective, S1 and seems more in line with being a natural continuation of it.

haha - I didn't either but hey, now it's been defined clearly!

The only time I remember it being routine was in Fringe when Walter Bishop was dissecting things. He was always eating. Just found a page dedicated to "Autopsy Snack Time" tropes in film, literature and more. :-)

I was devastated by Hodor's reveal and demise as well. Between that and tonight's PD it made for the kind of tv that you really feel, reflect on, and recall long after the season ends.

haha - makes me think of the book in the bathroom in Breaking Bad.

Thank you for this share.

I think, at this point, it's a little love but a lot of guilt driving Philip on the Martha end.
