I would watch that, but only if it was on HBO. I need to see insane amounts of carnage from a Hitman show.

She totally could have been a Cousin Oliver, but they somehow made her work.
I can still hear Scrooge's reply to it too, being overly happy to catch someone in a lie when it would help him profit. It amazes me to think back and realize just how much shows like this influenced my views on heroes and villains, when the protagonist of this show was a character who would do almost anything to make…
Props to Kevin for the High Fidelity reference. I'd personally have to go with Gaslight Anthem from The '59 Sound: Great Expectations and The '59 Sound (and Old White Lincoln is a great 3rd song) or Black Cat Rebellion from Our Lives Like Daggers: Intro/Burn and Forgiveness.
There was a local station in Indiana that used to carry hours of MuchMusic programming each day. I never realized that wasn't done everywhere until years later.
I think my favorite moment tonight was Jenna's confusion and calling Jack daddy during his breakdown. Such a perfect moment, as I always viewed Jack and Liz as parents to an extremely weird family.
Congratulations! 3 books out and I finally got my family to read one. They thought it was cute I wrote books. You are far more established than I am!

Was it ever mentioned that the key actually opens a door? The old man said something about the impenetrable place holding all kinds of things, but I got the feeling nothing could be retrieved from there, and the key was just meant to be thrown in.
So if it doesn't unlock the door, what is it a key to? I kept wondering…
Not to sound snarky, but I'm going to assume the writers and creators of the characters have a better idea of what they were meant to be than you do.
And I wouldn't consider romance a plot device (even though it's been used that way a lot on sitcoms.) Everything about this to me seems like a natural progression of the…
There was a Julius Pepperwood account I saw last week. I made a comment to them about being from Chicago, and they seemed to have no idea what I meant by that, though.
Jim's not really a dick for getting upset, just having a moment of selfishness. You just might not have been able to tell because you're from Chicago. Thin crust?

I kind of like the idea of him being a dealer of mind-bending drugs. It grounds the character in a way that worked for Scarecrow in Batman Begins. I'll be interested to see how they use him.
The only reason I could ever get anyone to go was on the off-chance that we might meet some girls from Taylor. I think I had the wrong friends in college.

And no one ever wanted to drive to Upland just for ice cream.

Those two saved this episode for me.

@avclub-dce141a5a14d8eb7b3431d777d37e69a:disqus but the women on the show have all been in the store before (for a Halloween party just earlier this season, Penny multiple times, and didn't she even go out with Stuart a few times?) And they've all been around the guys enough to understand their interest comics. It…
