There was a promo for it tonight. It's next week. I'm a little terrified.

This was pretty good. It was lighter on the jokes, but the Liz plot was great, and Paul L'Astname as a nurse was fantastic. I agree that the Jack plot was a bit weak, but whatever. On to the (hopefully not disastrous) live episode!
I recognized the reference. It was Christa Miller's delivery that made it work for me.
"No wine for you!" was excellent. God, I love this show.
Yeah, I'm hoping we get more Will Forte in the future. The thought of no more normaling at Bed Bath & Beyond makes me shudder.
Better than last week's episode. Much better. The Wiggles parody might have been a little dated, but it was still funny. The last few minutes of the episode, when the plots converged, were strong, particularly Jenna's moment of heartbreak. If nothing else, this season has been a fantastic showcase for Jane Krakowski.
Yeah, I think recycled plots are to be expected for a show that's been on the air for six years. I'm certainly not going to give up on a show that gives us gems like Kidnapped by Danger. This show still has some life in it, obviously, and I'll take what I can get.
@google-4d40fc86dd37ceb6b4995eb51ed91cae:disqus Thank you! That's exactly how I feel about the show at this point. I'm not bothered by characters not being grounded; I'm here for the jokes. But this show's humor is all about misdirection and surprise, and when we've seen it all before, then what's the point?
For once, I actually agree with Rabin's review. I thought this episode was pretty pointless. I can forgive the show's lack of character development when the jokes are firing on all cylinders, but tonight I'd say 75% of the jokes just didn't land for me. I chuckled at the idea of Lutz being the father of Twilight actor…
Valentine's Dance, Season 2, Britta's "lesbian" friend. That's the last one I remember.
I prefer to eat sandwiches at Brown or White, which is a local eatery I just made up.
I'm happier than I thought I'd be about this show coming back. This was a strong season premiere. I thought the pacing was really great — I really enjoyed how the second hour slowed things down. It's the little moments that make this show.
This has probably been posted already, but whatever, I don't feel like reading 2677 reasonable discussions right now.
I thought both episodes were great. Plenty of quotable bits.
Favorite line: "To me, people are just bags of skin that slow down my day."
No matter how many times it's explained to me, I never understand what the hell they're protesting.

Eh, yeah. I think you're right. Kenneth's new job seems to open up possibilities for new character dynamics. In any case, I'm just hoping they'll actually commit to this character development and not revert back to square one (which is what I suspect will happen, just because it's this show).
I feel like the "characters bumping into each other in hallways" thing mainly happened in the Kenneth/Liz plot. It might be somewhat unrealistic, but what else are you going to do to have characters interact on a sitcom? You need some kind of central location.
I misheard that line as "pants whose owners died."
